Drag Racing

Hi, I am new here and actually I am on idevices but I play this game and found that you all are about the most detail forum for Drag Racing. Hope I will be welcome here to share about this game.
Mind I ask how you beat the crap out of Hennessy Venom GT in Boss fight lvl 10???? I been losing eventhough racing with several cars incl. Venom itself.

With Bugatti, I may be off to great start, beat by more than a car but mid gear change is too slow, nitro is of no use. Venom mid level gear is too great!!!

With Venom, yes I may be off for a little headstart but when come to nitro and mid gear change, I still lose out. I try different nitro time setting and also gear. Any solution to share? Thank you.
 
Hi jus add on to my prev post, i managed to beat all boss lvl and open up pro race, found out the trick is jus to skip shift to 2nd or 3rd gear wif nitro and you will get past those boss lvl anytime. Now is jus yo learn gear setting to clock top time
 
I also stucked at Boss lvl10 (with my Aero). From start (gear 2)togear 3, I beat the Henn but it gradually ran faster and faster from gear 4 to finish line. For 1/4 mile, the Bug ss won from start to finish.

I just bought the Henn but need more money and RP for upgrading to lvl10.

Hi k.Bom, I not sure about others as I'm new to the game also, all I know is Henn is a very fast car at midgear, slow at starting due to wheelslip i guess. So I save money for Henn and dump other car in my case. And for 1/4 or 1/2, I use Henn to win outright, for 1/2 nitro after 2nd, for 1/4 nitro from 2nd gear.
 
Hi anyone got setting for lvl 3 skyline r34 and s2000? I running at sub 10.2 or 10.3 for both car at 1/4. Can anyone share on sub 9s setting? Tq
 
So, I need some suggestions.

This game is a lot of fun initially, and then it wears off, until you start tweaking the gear ratios and actually improving your performance. Just racing and buying upgrades isn't satisfying for too long, since you can usually find the shift/launch points in a car within a few races and there's no individuality involved.

I've been going through the lower levels (1-4) and trying to find cars that nobody uses and make them competetive. I'm not exactly a car expert, but it's a lot of fun. For instance, in Level 4 1/4's, almost all of the top scores are BMW M3's. I bought a Charger SRT8 and tried to make it work. I'm not quite winning them all, but I've managed to pull within .05 or so of most of the winners after hours of testing, and the game is suddenly loads more fun.

Anyway, what cars do people usually ignore or consider sub-par in most levels? I'm gonna spend my time buying them all up and trying to make them solid contenders. Any ideas?

Hey guys, I was messing around with different tunes and may have erased stock tune settings of the BMW M3 at level 4 maxed upgrades. Could somebody please post stock tune? Thanks
 
and since I cannot edit my post... are Benz SLS and porsche carrera GT generally considered good cars for level 5 and 6, and if not, which cars are, for both 1/4 and 1/2? I like theses cars and wanted to try them out and hope they can earn me some cash for the black Ferrari. Thanks!
 
Anyone want to share wif my camaro zl1 lvl 3 tuning? I only hit 10.5s for 1/4? Anyone can teach how to hit 10.2s? 1/2 at 15.895s....how to get 15.5s?

WOW!! Great tune, man. Much better than mine, so that anybody knowing nothing about tuning will beat my ass. Cool, dude! Just a question, why don't you give your 12.358 tune away, so that any prick can beat you too? Remember that this is just a game...

I can run a 8.313 but I'm getting beat by ppl running 8.303-8.306 ... no clue what they are doing. Right now my final drive is at 3.400, i'm thinking i need to change that and start from scratch to beat them. running out of ideas.

EDIT: i am using the same upgrades you are. maybe i need to go back to 2/1/1/4/5/5 (basically upgraded engine vs maxing out NOS ... idk, any suggestions would be appreciated...

The 358 tune isnt mine to give away, I swapped it for my level 1 1/2 18.973 Honda Tune.

If youve got any great times and there better than mine and visa versa, your more than welcome to swap!!!

Just added you, your lvl 10 Henny time aint bad 895, Is that your own tune? If it is well done and keep at it!!

Ok, I was getting 12.950 but with your tune the best I can get is 13.1
That first gear lauch is wacked..lol. When do you spray nos?

lv 7 novitec 12.363 start in 2 and shift just after perfect. i hope get under 12.360. at the start push the gas then move the finger on the shift getting a perfect launch directly in 2nd tune so the rpm remanig costant on 7000 then make a perfect shift 3rd + nitro a 125%. CIAO
 
sorry need help. in pro league i reach lv 2, but winning the race whit s2000 i don't earn nothing no money, no rp so i can't achieve lv 3. I'm stuck at 98 point. but need more to unlock lv 3. Another question in pro league we have to follow the rank in sequence? thank. sorry for my english ciao

Steven, Do a full rev start and drop it to 7100-7300, hit nos when you change to 2nd.

you have to learn to drive the tunes and slightly adjust them as most tunes will differ on each phone. This is an easy safe tune and should get you the times stated.
Keep practising and you will get there!!!

I've got a Novitec 599 at Level 6. If I upgrade anything else it will go up to Level 7.

Q. Should I max it and race it in Level 7, or buy a level 6 or 7 car and upgrade them to race in level 7?

My best time with my Lv 4 BMW M3 is 14.409 with my current tuning package, is there anyone who has a faster time that can give a few pointers on the tuning? I'm still not exactly sure how the Final Drive works...
