droid already a day old loaf of bread

In case you hadn't noticed, PCWorld is nothing but a bunch of iPhone fanboys. They never EVER review any Android apps, yet there are half-a-dozen iPhone apps reviewed every day. They used to be good, then they drank the Apple Kool-Aid.

Used to be good?

They've been nothing but fanboys of the big companies since their first days.

Everything they write / write about glorifies the companies that make the most money, so they can get some of said money to finance their own operations....

PC World used to be a great magazine back in the day - the day being 10-15 years ago.

It has slowly progressed (read that to mean de-evolve) into a tabloid magazine and techno nerd's hustler magazine

Consumer Reports has more street credit nowadays than PC World.

Honestly I didn't even read the article I just came here to say that the only reason I read PC World articles anymore is for humor. Regardless if it's a article about Apple, Android, Palm, Windows, Linux or anything tech the author is always clearly out of touch with the real world.

Ide like to add something to this as I just remembered that back in the day PCWorld reviewed the Alienware M5000 series laptop. Well it was such a stellar review that I had to get one since I was in the market for a really powerful laptop. Well after a year my Alienware went on the fritz and the company wouldnt fix it unless I paid them 300 bucks for what they called user-error which my 3 year warrenty didnt cover. So I paid the money as it was nearly a 3,000 dollar machine and it worked for another half of a year then the hard drives died and Alienware wanted 800 dollars this time to fix it as they said it was user error. Long story short: I now have a 3000 dollar paper weight in my room and have since switch to an Asus Laptop which Ive had for almost 2 years now and its a great machine....for 500 dollars.

(They never game Asus a very good review from what I can remember)

PC World and their biased reviews cost me alot of money because I trusted them. When I wrote to the company to ask them what they thought of this experence I was given a reply a month or so later saying that I shouldnt blame Alienware for my own mistakes. This came shortly after Dell bought them out.

PC World and their hacks of a staff need to die a slow and painful death!

-Have a nice day

$800 to fix hard drives? You probably could have done it yourself.

That I could but frankly Im keeping it broken to be a constant reminder that buying things like that never end well. Its like one of those inspirational posters, except mine is a 12 pound piece of crap, rofl.

Ya it really weighs 12 lbs! The thing is huge!
