It's got to be the holiday. My weekend started off with a bang. Got off work about 12:30 on Fri, went to take care of some business. By the time I got home at 3:30, I had a full blown migraine. Been fighting it all weekend. At least now it is down to a dull throbing.
On a positive note - Adrynalyne has released FrankenROM. No longer beta

His stuff is always top notch. Remeber following his stuff on modaco. Not messing with Inc like that yet though.

I just got Hulu on my Incredible. I'm not ready to lose that yet.

Nope, Dolphin. Skyraider has a Hulu/flash .apk, all you have to do is install it. It's not perfect yet, flash can freeze up sometime and I read some people just have trouble with it. Worked on the first try for me tho.

Just got that myself. Someone in another thread replied. I posted it across three threads. Didn't want to be a post whore, but I wanted to get the question out there. Did it, it worked, still doing the happy dance.
I still hate Verizon and their crappy bloatware though!!!

Ah ha!! Have you tried this?
I am happy that it worked, and have no plans to reverse it right now, but does anyone know if there is a reason I should? Will having this disabled hinder any future updates, or notifications?

I was at Walt Disney World for the millenium celebration. I saw that sign for two of my 16 trips. It was beautiful. The dates were: 9/2000 and 1/2001 (they were tearing down the 2000 part at that time

it's the weirdest thing...everytime I try to shut the wifi off it turns itself right back on. No matter what I use. lol

There must be an app running that requires an "always on" connection. It may not even had stated in the install file that it would keep the WiFi active. Have you tried keeping "mobile web" on and then see if WiFi will shut off?

I saw a thread the other day about why android forums doesnt use tapatalk, and that they are going to be making an app of their own for the marketplace. Does anyone know how to get to it? I cant find it anywhere. also does anyone know when androidforums will be releasing the app?
Yeah I figured it had to be an app that I installed...I shut down everything none essential and it still did it.
I have not tried that option tho....

There is no date for the app. From what I understand, the admins, mods and guides will be allowed to beta test it first, then it becomes available to the general public. I don't even know when we're going to get it, however. I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance.

That might be the problem, if you can't connect to Verizon's mobile network (mobile web) that could be why something keeps enabling your WiFi. How long have you had the phone? Have you ever connected to mobile web?
Many of us had to call Verizon CS and have them manually register out phones on their network to get mobile web working. I had to do this right at the beginning.
ok that would make sense. I have had 3G working before on stock but I've been messing with a few ROMs this past week. I don't use 3G much at all, so it could have happened at any time.
So will I have a problem calling into CS when I am using a ROM? Or maybe I should try a different ROM and see if I have the same problem.
