Sorry, haven't tried that. I don't use Chrome on my PC. I use the Firefox plug-in though.
 
Interesting first half. Got to say, the scoring system in my Fantasy League is going to take some getting used to. 103pts from the Saints defense:eek: in the first half:confused:.

I agree, it's been around for years and I still crack up when I come across it again!

Redraptor: I owned a pet store for seventeen years, and we were "full-lined" Fish, birds, rodents reptiles, etc. etc. It was damn hard work, so I feel for you!

Ha ha Its really not the animals or hard work that I mind so much, its the endless supply of bitchy/whinny/dumbass people that buy animal products. Seriously, before I took this job I never realized how incredible selfish and demeaning and rude some people are. Im essentially a modern hippy (Peace, love, and long hair) and these people make me test my love for most people.

I know just what you mean! And no matter what you do, you aren't treating the poor creatures right! Plus, they pretend knowledge that they don't have. Time and again, I'd have some guy with his girlfriend come in and see an animal and ask me what it was, I'd tell them, like a "Guinea pig" and then he'd say, "Oh yeah, I used to raise those". Forgetting that he didn't know what it was a minute ago. And they'd want you to guarantee life! They'd buy a bird, take it home and let the dog kill it, and then bring it back for a refund! I'm so glad to be out of that business. :mad:

Oh yeah totally. I hate the opposite end of the spectrum too. Where a guy comes in and knows WAY more than most people EVER would and expects us to know everything he does. Im not going to lie and say we know EVERYTHING about fish/rodents/reptiles ect. We know more than the average person and do everything we can do to help the person, with the knowledge we have.

Although if the person comes in and knows EVERY LITTLE DETAIL about what fish came from what lake in some country half way across the world than they should have enough knowledge to know what size tank they have and the correct filter and cartridges. Im not blaming them for not really knowing that, but they treat us like we are complete idiots if we don't know the smallest most insignificant details.

Like I said, we know more than the average person and everything else after that is picked up through experience. We are a large chain after all and ill be the first to admit it when im not sure about something and then proceed to get someone who does.


Honestly though I dont mind it too much. I would MUCH rather be in a surf shack learning the in's and out's of how to construct and repair boards as well as sell merchandise, but being in central Va. kind of has its limits. For right now though, it will have to do, until I can get into a place that I REALLY feel like I can benefit. I just need more experience.

It's ironic, I'm now in Carlsbad, CA and there is a surf shop on every block! My brother-in-law has four boards in the garage, he was quite the surfer at one time. I used to a little also, but mostly enjoyed scuba.

I loved it too, was 20 at the time but it was the first time you got to see real possibilities of what updated effects could do the Universe i love.... Thats when i got into the EU books.... Read almost all 300 of them or so
