Yes, just rebuilding my Computer repair business after moving down to this area.

You just HAD to get top spot again, didn't you???
 
Hey everyone, I hope you all had good days! got yer chores done and what not? I had to take a kid to the dentist, and afterwards I bought, or tried to buy him a large fry. Here was my order: 1 chicken nugget kids meal with a chocolate frosty, 1 large fry, 1 small fry, 1 small chocolate frosty, 1 small half and hald frosty. Simple, right? Well the darn lady didnt speak a lick of english I swear, and she reminded me of that Chinese Food Lady in Dude, wheres my car.... and then? and then? and then? Me: "I want a large fry...and" She says: "wait.....please... you want large sprite?" Me: "No, one large fry, 1 small fry..." her: "okay.... wait..... 1 large fry, and then?" Me: "one small fry...." her: "you want meal?" me: "No thank you, just 1 large fry, 1 small fry, 1 chicken nugget kids meal.." her: "you want sauce?" me: "no thank you" her: "what kind of sauce?" I sighed really big.. Normally I have a lot of patience with this sort of thing, because everyone needs to work, but......

I kid you not! I wanted to throttle her. I pulled up, and she told me my total was $87 something or rather, and I said "what?" she was trying to say 8 dollars and something, but she couldnt translate it right. I live in freaking Michigan, last I knew I didnt have to learn a new language to order from Wendy's, lol! My son wanted to know what was wrong with her, and I said "I dont think she speaks english well, but she tried her best".... It was so hard to not scream and yell and throw a fit, lol

Multiply that situation by a factor of ten and you'll have what it's like here in Southern California, or "little Mexico" as we call it. But we also have Vietnamese, Koreans, Russians, Chinese, etc. I mean I am all for the immigrant worker and all that, but let them learn English first, like my grandparents had to and then join the American workforce. Of course, if you even suggest something like that, you are labeled a bigot. So we just smile and nod. :mad:
 
I dont even know why they had her taking orders, because OMG! but oh well whatever, my kid got his damn fries and thats all that matters I guess, lol
 
Well, I need to check the customer's computer I have running a scan, I've been able to goof off and get on my laptop while I was waiting.

ummmmmm..... I have to ask a couple of questions in the EVO forums, but I am afraid someone is going to say "do a search you dumb b*tch" or something... they really burned me, and Im a bit afraid to step into that domain....

I take care of My sister and her husband's EVOs, so PM me with your problem and I may be able to help. But we make a point to not talk shop here in the lounge :D

OHHHHHHH! I went there once, and I decided I could cook everything on the menu, and so I havent been back since. I only eat at places that I cant make the food the same or better... its the cheapo in me I guess. So I tend to go out to Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Mexican and such kind of places, lol

I did ask my questions in the EVO area.

You know, I think these different lounges for people to sit around and talk about anything are kind of like segregation... I mean, did you notice how everyone is kind of in these cliques? The evo lounge was only talking EVO when I checked it... I mean isnt there more to life than android? lol *cracks whip*

The segregation is actually the reason the loounge threads were moved into the lounge sub-forum.
