Hi all! I am pleased

my wife and I both got this phone on launch day. We are loving it. Super fast for me, and the flash videos play super smooth.

I have found many good apps but I am somewhat frustrated by the 'Market' widget. I would like to have better sorting options to help me determine the best app for me. What websites can you recommend that will help me in this fashion? I just found appbrain.com and that seems pretty nice. Anything better?

Hey Guys,
did anyone else's phone revert to Safe Mode after the update? If so, how to I get it out of Safe Mode...I've tried and can't figure it out. Thanks.

Ok, can anybody explain what the two small circles are to the left of the Verizon logo on the Incredible?

I assume that one of them is the proximity sensor however I was wondering what the other one could be. (front facing camera anyone?) we can dream....

I know the one to the right of the Verizon logo is the charge light.

Thanks!

I think it's the ambient light sensor for the auto-brightness feature.

Ahhhh, you're a probably correct sir. Thank you! Maybe someone will make an aftermarket front facing camera.. (how ghetto would that be)

longtime lurker, first time poster. just got my droidware in today. ordered online yesterday and despite the "ship by 5/14" disclaimer, my order shipped the same night and got here 2pm eastern. i met the fedex guy as he drove up my driveway... might've creeped him a bit with my enthusiasm. barely able to keep myself from powering up, as im trying to do the full charge before first power up thing.

on that note, is there any consensus on whether its better to charge from wall socket, or usb to computer... or whether it makes any difference?

There are some tweaks to lengthen battery life. I use: settings>wireless & networks>mobile networks (2nd one in the list)>uncheck Enable always-on.

That helped me. Also, feel free to check us out on our live chat channel below.

Thanks Steven. What are the disadvantages of that tho? What does it turn off?

Also, in addition to initializing your phone with initial setup, you need to *228 option 2 to update roaming capabitities. This really helped reception and battery life for me.
