.::Droid Incredible Lounge::.

I have to admit.. a one click restore is a great feature. After spending three hours twice last week.. it's way tempting. I hope not to go through that again any time soon.. but the droids seem to only last a few months for me. I don't over use them so I'm a bit surprised I'm having troubles. There is nothing out on the market that I'm tempted to migrate to.. I still love the dinc. I just want it to stay stable and would enjoy the hardware/speaker being a bit more reliable.
 
Good morning Scorp and others. I'm home trying to get in to see my optometrist. The nose piece broke on my glasses last night.. I'm near blind without them. It only seems like an emergency to me I guess. I'm still waiting on a call from his office.. like two hours worth. I feel like a seal trying to balance my glasses on my face so I can see lol.

I feel for you. I'm going for contacts so I don't have to fuss with the glasses:D
 
I've never considered contacts but I bet they are a great option. I dated a gal with contacts years ago and she loved them. I work in dusty environment and should wear safety glasses for most of my work day. I wear glass glasses because the plastic lenses get so scratched up in nothing flat. My vision is so poor that I wear bifocals as well. I'm not sure contacts would work for me. But I'm here to tell ya... I've worn glasses for 40 years and can honestly say.. I HATE them. If I could do contacts.. I'd give them a try.
 
Good for you man. You don't know how lucky you are. I have a designated spot I set my glasses down each night so I can easily find them when I get up lol. I might be able to cobble something together for a temp repair on my glasses but once I take them off.. I can't see to work on them. I even tried using a magnifying glass as an aid.. but had no luck. I'm not in the mood to part with $500+ for new glasses but I have to see. I can't legally drive without them etc. Plus.. you sure don't want to be on the highway near me if I"m driving without them lol.
 
T-1 day till I get my incredible. I just cant wait. I want to call in to work as the day will drag by slow.

Yes I am very excited to get this phone. But also found out I have an upgrade now. Wife found out when taking her POS devour to verizon because the keyboard stop working. Now which new phone should I wait for?

Anyway back to the topic at hand. This will be my first HTC device. Prior its been all Moto. So I am excited to try a new brand. New to me.
 
Welcome man ... Your gonna fall in love with this phone very hard and fast so enjoy it ... As for the upgrade I would say the lg revloution the moto binoic our the inc 2 all conning out early this summer but the inc2 may alway be out I am personally wathing for the incHD
 
Evening friends. My local U just won their quarter final game in the NIT. I know that's not a biggie but it speaks well for the team I've rooted for decades on decades lol. Wichita State Shockers.. I know you were wondering lol. I know you don't remember this.. it's basically local history sh*t but their football team and coaches were killed in a chartered airplane crash years ago. They have not had football here since... so basketball is a BIG DEAL.
