I've been with Verizon since they started basically. They were the first cell company in my area and still have the best coverage. There are cheaper alternatives here.... now.. but nothing that compares in quality. I'm guessing I signed up sometime in the late eighties. They had only one store in town and it was much like an old shoe store in an old building down town lol. I still have my Motorola brick lol.

Wow, that's a long time to be with one cell company. If Sprits were to have a no contract phone plan with flagship phones, I would jump all over that with the Moto X.

I have four phones on the plan. Each is on a two year contract and they are scattered across the calendar. There would never be a good time to make a change if I wanted to.
I think that's exactly the way they want it.

^All too true.

They did have a 6gb plan for 30 when I signed up my son's GF. Said it was promotional for a new line though. I called and tried to get it put on one of my other 2gb lines... no go :(

Figures... I saw a conversation somewhere on AF about that plan. They didn't say it was for new plans only though. That makes more sense lol. I'd not change anyway. Though I've spent a small fortune through the years... I have zero complaints. They have always treated me well... as well as they could, that is.

It's always good to see friends in this area. I cut my AF teeth in this thread and consider everyone friends. Though most of us have gone different directions on AF, and often don't run across one another... this thread is like home base. It makes my day to see activity in here. :)

Live, dammit!

I like my Galaxy S3 so much that I'll probably keep it until it dies. I have really been impressed with Samsung products. I have a Note 10,1 tablet, a 60" smart TV and several other things by Samsung. I should do a commercial for them! LOL

My son's thunderbolt finally got to the point of being almost unusable. We got him the Galaxy S5 on Saturday. He's loving it so far.

A small reason he wanted to go Samsung rather than HTC again was because he could never get wii remotes to work with HTC phones. However, it looks like the newer Samsung phones don't work with them anymore either. Oh well, minor complaint.

I took a long hard look at the Sammy 5 last Saturday. I was in a long waiting line to be helped at my local Verizon outlet. It is a nice phone. I hope it serves your son well. I ended up getting the M8. I'm just a sucker for HTC phones. I wouldn't say it's necessarily the better phone. But it was clearly the better phone for me.

That's all that matters. The Moto G is an exceptional phone. I really like how Motorola advertised it. They didn't come out and say it's the best phone ever. They know it's not. The Moto X is :P

But if Boost Mobile had a Windows Phone. I may give in... (Shock... :])

You never know until you give it a whirl. I'm clearly not that adventurous. Three HTC phones in a row sort of tell a story lol. I admire you for being so open minded.

Give me your impressions. Our next phones will either be the m8, s5 or G3. I'm shopping for impressions. TY~~~ :)
