Droid Incredible NEEDS Your Help! (DInc vs Pre)

I think tomorrow is the Incredible's semi-final fight in the Android Cup. We need to be ready...

Everybody should jog 50 laps, and be sure to strech. No drinking, no parties...lights out at 10. Drink plenty of water.

DRAGO!!!! I mean DROID!!!!!

I say we also need to pull for the N1. The phone is essentially a 1st Gen gray DInc. We need to keep our HTC cousins in the spotlight.

I think it'd be epic to have the N1 vs the DInc.

Both the MyTouch Slide and the N1 are HTC. But the N1 is a much sweeter phone.

So I guess the Incredible is tomorrow.

I even biked to work so I would be in shape.

Oh well!

From the comments on the article. Why the Slide is better than the Nexus One...
1. it has a better camera than the nexus
2. It has a slide out keyboard instead of all touch screen
3. comes preloaded with swype (nexus does not have it)
4. has my modes customization (nexus does not)
5. Has a genius button (nexus does not )
6. costs way less, (you have to purchases nexus one through google, you cant make any changes to your plan for two years or your charged the whole rate)
7. has an optipad which is way better than a trackball (nexus does not)
8. has multitouch and flash player just like nexus one.

hmmm....this guy doesn't know what they're talking about.
2. I'd say the N1 isn't burdened by an unnecessary physical keyboard. Especially with the bigger, much higher resolution screen.
3. preloaded with Swype? Because it's such a hassle to go on an email list and install an .apk.
4. has my modes customization. Because stock android is SO difficult to customize.
5. useless Genius button
6. I'm pretty sure you can change your plan to any other even more plan.

I also love the people who claim that 600=1000. The quadrant score for the slide is around 400, while the N1 on Donut gets around 500. The Froyo N1 gets 1,300! This isn't a contest, it's a slaughter.

Voted.

This will be interesting. I hope the DInc wins this round.. (it SHOULD), which will place it against the N1... for that, who knows.

DInc has taken an early lead. For those that would like their vote to count more than once, by deleting cookies you are able to vote again. Rest assured the Droid guys will be doing it.

Anyone else notice this about the Droid?

Android version 2.0

This chart has a handful of inaccuracies. Droid runs 2.1, not 2.0. Droid has 256MB of ram, not 512MB. The chart fails to mention that the Incredible uses OLED while the Droid uses LCD, which is one of the better features of the Incredible.

I thought the Droid has 512Mb of system ROM and 256Mb of RAM?
