Droid releasing in May not April?

Just read it myself, and it's both encouraging and disheartening at the same time. I was really hoping for an April release date, but I suppose May isn't too terribly bad. Late May, eh. I dunno. I suppose we'll know soon enough how true this map holds true. Still, not one of those other phones even slightly intrigue me. I need the Bionic!

The simple fact is..nobody knows. From all the different forums I've read the most common date that lines up are April 21 or 28. If it gets pushed back to May or even June? MEH!

Phandroid said that rumor comes from verizon.. so does this one; Droid Bionic Release now Mid-April [Says Verizon] | Android Community

again..nobody knows.

IMHO, the more they wait for the release on the Bionic the more they are hurting themselves. From what I've seen there are MANY people waiting for it, including me. All the videos I've seen it seems to be a very solid, very fast device...I hope they haven't stumbled upon a problem with it. In which case "Motorola please don't sell me something I will have no problems returning in a week"

Probably no way the Bionic ships in April. My guess is mid May, but hoping the tiered 4G data does not kick in yet.

Just hope the display is as sweet is the TB. Maybe all the bugs the TB has (that the fanboys are blind to) will be fixed and I still may go to the TB.... Then again, the Incredible 2 is also coming (maybe sooner than the Bionic).

Then again, no 4G where I live for 18 months or so, so no harm no foul (if I get the Inc 2). People thinking they will keep 4G unlimited after contract are probably mistaken.

I hope better! I thought members were stating the the screen was pretty bad. Washed out and band angle viewing. This is of course comparing them to the droid incredible and the droid x.

I don't think that is the case. If you check one out in the store, I bet you will be impressed with the TB screen.

And just a point about bad angle viewing... That always confused me on phones anyway. Except for the most odd of circumstances (or perhaps when having more than 1 person look a a cell), why would you not hold the phone at the correct angle anyway? Off angle viewing is about 99th of 100 concerns in a phone for me anyway...

TB display is sweet :)

My Inc has the amoled, but the TB is almost as vivid, but less saturated (this is good). It also has far better resolution and looks less "grainy" even though a lot bigger display (this is due to the amoled tech not showing about 1/3 of the pixels). TB, IMO has the best LCD that I have seen on a phone.

Almost makes me forget about the speaker stuck behind the stand, no internal media space and 4gb disabled (can never be used). Claiming 8gb internal in the spec but killing 4gb is false advertising- no way to spin.

Still, the display on the TB is very nice :)

It was probably on another android forum site, but I could of sworn that others stated comparing it to other android screen the thunderbolt fell a bit short. No one said it was a bad or horrible screen. I think its time for a trip to verizon to play with this phone.

Every review I have read have two common themes: The battery life sucks and the display is fantastic. I agree with the display one, but have no practical experience about the battery.

I wouldn't trust any news that breaks today. Especially if they claim they're dropping a phone the same day as the iPhone. I highly doubt Verizon would allow that.

Look how the "leaked" sheet is worded. Obvious April Fools joke, from April tools ;)

LMAO.. The best April fools joke I've seen in a while. "Details include tightness of their clothing" Classic!!
