Droid X Keyboard now available for ALL PHONES!

Sorry to change the topic for a min. I was wondering if anyone knows how and could tell me how to get either Shapewriter and/or Swype, One is off the android market and the other is no longer in beta. I'm sure someone here knows a trick or 2 on how to get these to download and work on my evo :) Thanks in advance for your help.
 
I downloaded it, unzipped the file, ran appInstaller, found Multi-Touch Keyboard, clicked install...it says "Application not installed"...thoughts?

Thats funny. People have been complaining for weeks about this and all we had to do is a little swype.:rolleyes:
 
i guess if you dont like swype or cant get used to it, this is nice..but Swype is still the best keyboard solution, hands down...

To each his own they say. i like shapewriter better than anything i've used. haven't tried this Droid X one yet, but ii'm so proficient with Shapewriter i have no urge to try it.

Sorry if this is a noob question, but what makes a key-board multi-touch?

Edit: Read the site and figured out the multi-touch thing, still sticking with shapewriter.
 
I modified the q-ime version and made the keys a darker grey when pressed rather than red. Here is the signed apk for those interested. I made no functional changes, so it's exactly the same except the red has been changed to grey.

ok i downloaded the megaupload link and download the appInstaller when i click on the thing in appinstaller it says Parse error there is an error parsing the package?????????? help!
 
anyway to make it vibrate when you touch a letter? I have it tunred on and the sound turned on. But it won't vibrate. It vibrated for the stock keyboard. I really would like this on the x keyboard.

Also installed the swype with astro but when i click open it says...activity not found. Got it from the link above.
 
I like the KB but it was missing things like the arrow keys. If I needed to edit something in a text I could hardly ever get the cursor in the right spot the first few tries. It got frustrating so I took it off and Im running the stock kb for now.
