OMG that is too funny!!!! I have a half-eaten cinnamon pop tart right here and you know what? The X is only slightly smaller! ROFLMAO!!!

Now I'm gonna have to change her name, dammitall. I'll never get that image out of my head.

Sooo... this is just something I am curious about, and I know that there is probably no real answer until it comes out, but with all of these photos flyin around does it look like we may see 2.2 for root before the official hits? Again, this is all speculation, but I'm excited about everything (I'm new to it all) and I figured that this thread would be a good place to strike up some conversation on it. Thoughts?

EH...whether it's true (which I doubtO or not, we get Froyo in a month anyway. I can wait! :)

Seems like everyone here knows each other pretty well...so I'll take a stab at walking into the lounge as the 'stranger in town'.

I'm (relatively) new to the forums, and the X is my first Android phone. I've been a long-time Blackberry user - but the X (and Android) have definitely won my heart.

<cheers>

So true. I'm pretty stoked to get my hands on it, as I'm sure many people in here are.

Welcome! I'm pretty new as well. Sort of in the same boat as you actually. Came from the BB family and completely fell in love with Android thanks to DX. I went through the Storm 1 & 2 before this. Good phones for when I got them, but going from them to X is just as drastic as the step to a smart phone for the first time. Whole new world... Whole new world. :D

UGHH i am trying to decide do i want to keep the X or get a dinc

my honeymoon phase is officially over with my X and now im like...ehhh

BOOOOO! lol. I guess you are a female though, how does the X fit in your hands/purse/jeans/etc? I would keep the X for now and wait until the next round of Android phones arise. LTE is right around the corner and we may see a 2Ghz device by Thanksgiving.

But it does look like you fly through your phones, so do whatever makes you happy!

Lol why yes, yes i am a female(hence my avatar)
LOL

The Size of the phone never has been an issue for me. I am used to the width and length having owned an Evo and now this.

It's more so the software and the camera and the phone functions

1)I went from hating blur, to liking it and now hating it just because i have to go in and manually fix well over 800 contacts now

2)Camera-I love taking self portraits(i take a shot anytime i get a chance) however my self portraits often come out blurry and grainy compared to pictures of landscape...Why idk but ehhh

and i have had to start doing frequent reboots

To be honest, i'll probably keep it...I do love it dearly but we are having some complications now :)

I guess i will order a replacement X and hope for the best ha

Good Luck with the replacement! Are you still using the stock Moto Launcher? I'm using ADW and Launcher Pro and everything is a helluva lot more smooth. The camera issue, well, nothing you can do about that lol.

P.S. I already knew you were a female duh, I just typed that funny so it came out wrong lol.

LMAO... carmen carmen carmen...... you should def keep your X, Hell think of all the trouble you will have to go through to change your "Droid X Girl"

Alright not that much but still... don't run away just yet.

Need some popcorn to watch the show Steven? *offers a bowl of popcorn*

Oh my god, i feel so arrogant and bad saying that lolzzz

Nahhh I think it must be the lack of sleep...i could never go back to HTC given all the issues i had with their devices

I am about to whip my X into shape though

Serously, honey. The Dinc is a great phone. You can't lose with either of them. For me? I like the size of the X. I like the call quality of the X. I had my sister's Droid Inc. back in hand a couple of weeks ago and thought that I still loved that phone too. You can't lose.
