Woah! Guys so i went into my vzw store to see if they had a phone in stock, but the guy was saying that verizon will be releasing some new phones in the coming weeks and hopefully will free up the demand for the droid x, i asked him if there were all smartphones and he said yes, that verizon is trying to move towards more smartphones. Hmm, do you think that the HTC phone that was found in inventory might be it? I still want the droid x.

Most salesmen in the VZW stores have no clue what they are talking about and will say (lie) whatever they have to for you to come back to them and buy a phone if they can't sell you one that day. My wife wanted an incredible so we went into the verizon store to see when they would have them back in stock in late June. The salesman tried telling us it wouldn't be in stock until late august and the X wasn't coming out until september or october and the droid 2 didn't exist so she should just get the droid. Since i knew he was full of **** we left and 3 days later I pre ordered 2 droid X's at best buy.
The droid 2 should be released in the next week or 2 probably, but other than that i'll believe it when I see it.

Well they have the droid 2 coming out and the droid pro and a couple new htc phones coming out on various carriers also blackberry is going to be putting out some new phones, not this year, but they will be with the new blackberry os 6 that is coming out this year in the fall. So they do have phones lined up but yea the lady was probably just trying to get you out of the store cause they didn't have any droid x's .

I think we have only hit 80 twice so far this summer where I live near Seattle, 70 today with thunderstorms this evening. I miss the hot weather, I lived the last couple years in Dallas and the weather was so nice there 100+ every day in the summer, I loved it!
