Ugh, the dude at the Vzw store is trying to sell an LG ally to this lady, i am holding myself from screaming, dont do it, she says she wants a keyboard, what about the droid!?!? OMG! or better still wait for the droid 2, the lg ally really? I guess someone has to buy it.

I was one of those people that picked up the Ally. Glad the phone had all issues it had because I probably wouldn't have sent it back and swapped for an X.
 
I love slacker. Not enough to pay for the full version, by the month. ;)

I pay for the full version, $5 a month isn't bad for no ads and cache music. Plus I have unlimited song requests so I built my stations the way I liked a lot quicker. Not to mention unlimited skips. It is worth it to me because that's all I listen to. At home in the car, everything
 
I can totally understand that. I just discovered Pandora and love that, too!

PS: No extra monthly $$ for me. Completely paying my daughter's way through college so she doesn't have to suffer under the same student loans that I did! :)

I still use pandora too, but just because it works better with AppAlarm. I was using Pandora for about a year or so before I discovered Slacker.
 
i went just the opposite way on BB storm 2 i discovered slacker cause it was just there then someone showed me pandora and for me it always booted a lot faster and had less bugs
 
I think I'm liking Pandora better, too, even enough to sign up for a year. I'll see.
 
Ok, I rarely ask stupid questions. I usually search and try to find answers to the easy stuff, but this is bugging me and I've been so busy customizing the look of my X lately that I haven't really looked for the answer. Everyone is entitled to a "duh" question occasionally right? So here it is:

In my signature it says "http://www.appbrain.com/user/chrlswltrs/apps-on-the-motorola-droid-x" I want it to say "My apps on my Droid X" and be the same link.

How do I do it?

Just remove the * from the last URL tag:)
 
Can't wait for football season either! Hopefully the Bears have a better Season :D

On a side note, I'm 22 hours unplugged, having used my phone fairly heavily today, and am only at 50% battery life...ohhhh I love this phone
