droid1 & 4g?

Plus don't forget, it is going to take a long time for 4g to cover the country. Enjoy 3g, buecause like mentioned, 4g will be tiered I bet. There might be unlimited but it will cost. If the new iPhone comes to verizon, expect unlimited to disappear

It's sad because all the good phones that are going to come out will be 4G-capable, which I DO NOT WANT. That means I'll have to pay an extra $20/mo for a service that I won't get any use out of. By the time 4G is widespread enough for me to even consider it to be worth it, it'll be 2 years and I could get a new phone with an actual 4G radio.

CES 2011 needs to showcase some good Verizon 3G phones. Otherwise, I'll be forced to get a Droid X or a Droid 2, and both have fatal flaws (one has no keyboard, one has a small screen). I really wish the Incredible HD was a 3G phone, at least it would have been from HTC and not Motorola.

it wont work sadly since 4g operates specifically off of sim cards which the D1 doesnt support.

im off of work tmrw and today but i can screen shot a speedtest.net of a 4g aircard if anyone wants to see speeds of the 4g network, on wendsday of course.

The problem with 4g is that with a 5GB limit, all the great things you can do with 4g like video streaming will eat up all your download limit.

I still don't understand why they would increase our bandwidth and lower our cap... oh wait, they want to charge massive overage fees. :(
