Root Dumb question about Liberty

How do I know for sure I am on Liberty? I know that seems dumb but hear me out.
I flashed Liberty back a few months ago. I wasn't thrilled with it(mainly because I lost some stuff that I have since got back) I thought I reverted back to stock but the Liberty logo stuck with me on rebooting.
Then just the other day I decided to download Liberty Toolbox just for grins and I can change the settings on my phone with it. When it comes up, it says I'm on an old version of Liberty(so I guess that should be enough to convince me of that) I changed the boot animation back to stock and changed some things with it. Does that mean I am on Liberty still? Will it state under "about phone" something that would be definitive? Kernel version?
Be gentle :)

If I knew that I wouldn't be posting this...right? :)
I had Froyo and flashed the first Liberty. I didn't like it and thought I reverted back to Froyo but it seems I'm on Liberty since Liberty tool box says I'm on an old version and I can change things with Liberty Toolbox.
I have never done anything with Gingerbread.
Under "About phone" I have:

System version:
version 2.3.340 MB810.Version.en.US

Kernel version:
2.6.32.9-g55626e1
w30471@ii93lnxdroid8#1

Don't know if that means anything but....

wait, didn't you lose your contacts? do you still have Backup Assistant?

if you do, you're stock

if you don't, you're on Liberty

Okay, i hope i can answer your question a little bit better.. so when you first downloaded liberty it chaned you boot logo to there liberty one, right? then you desided to go back to your back up?? or did you just do a factory wipe? if you had made a back up before downloading liberty rom and then desided to go back to your back up and wipe handheld it would have taken the liberty rom off totally, but if you just did a wipe while still on the rom and never reverted back to before the liberty rom. it would still be attached to your droid. unless you did a full SBF then that would take the rom off aswell... now the bootlogo might not ever change unless you change it back to the main logo.. it has to do with where the logo is downloaded to on your phone.. as for downloading the new liberty toolbox it says your on the old version of liberty and you need to install 2.0.1 or something like that? thats just because they have done updates to there software since putting it on the market :) i hope that is what you were wanting to know :)

-Had Liberty boot logo and Liberty theme on the phone(the hideous yellow one ;) ).
-Lost my contacts
-Reverted back with bootstap backup( I think ;) ).
-Got my contacts back thru Verizon Backup
-Got email addresses back thru Yahoo.
-Liberty boot logo stayed.
-I loaded Liberty toolbox and changed logo back to Motorola.

Am I wrong in thinking the Liberty toolbox wouldn't change the boot logo unless I was on Liberty? I'm assuming I am wrong there.

Easy, go to setting-->about phone-->Build. It should say Liberty or VZW depending on what ROM you are running. Sometimes, you can revert back to stock but little things from roms can stay on your phone, boot animationis one of them but not always.
