East Coast Earthquake..

I hope these earthquakes aren't foreshadows for whenever the "big one" hits LA.

As long as they wait to have it until after I fly out of there at the end of December. :p

A friend of mine in Baltimore texted me right after it hit. She said her building shook for 30 seconds. She asked what she should do. I told her at that point, it's a tad bit late to ask. (I was born in California and lived in Japan as a kid. Earthquakes were just a fact of life but it certainly didn't mean you got used to the big rattlers.)

I felt it in north Jersey. The whole office started cheering thinking the building was finally collapsing and we'd get a day off. Then we found out it was really an earthquake. It's the first one I've ever actually felt - kinda wierd.

It wasn't my picture. It was from someone else on the internet. I hope they were covered. :p

Congrats! I was in the Northridge Earthquake of '94 (aka Los Angeles Earthquake '94), which was a 6.8. I was about 1 mile away from the epicenter so umm... yeah that was definitely the biggest one I've ever felt and still have vivid memories of that night.

I think that was the earthquake that delayed the opening of our production facility. And I am in SLC, Utah.

Felt it down here in Tennessee. I thought a tree had fallen on the house and wondered why I didn't hear it and why it kept going on and on. Took a good five minutes for me to figure out what had happened.

My sister and nephew were in Northridge. It was terrible. This is the first earthquake I've ever felt, as I said. Pretty unusual.

Wow, it wrecked that tree.

Should have wiped out that horrific furniture, I'm just 'sayin. Earth killing polymers and lack of good taste combined; it will happen again. Probably at the major IKEA stores. I am skeered because I have equally ugly lawn furniture.

God dam it...i live in the same area and i swear haven't felt s**t. i was working when it happened, but i swear non of my colleagues noticed it.

I always wanted to know what earthquake is like.....

I felt it in Buies Creek, NC (middle of nowhere). Felt like one leg was giving out after a good workout.

Holy crap? Really didn't feel it? At first I thought I was getting ready to pass out cause I realized I hadn't eaten all day. Lol. Then others started asking what 'that' was so I knew it wasn't me. The only people I know that didn't feel it by us were driving.
