An upgrade from has happened on my S2 to this EE i think my S2 is now ready for 4g but its not launched till the 30/10/12 but it seems my internet connection has slowed right down
how can i go back to what it was, which was fine

is there any other way to get better connection speeds i mainly use it to tether my xbox another cost per month for pointless laggin games which boot me off for poor connection, really annoying

thanks

showmestuff, I'll move this to the Galaxy S2 International (i9100) forum for you. They should be more familiar with Everything Everwhere and better able to help you.

The SGS2 i9100 is not 4G compatible as far as I know.
Mine is currently connect on HSDPA:9 although it did show up as HSPAP:15 yesterday (and again just) Although if data hasn't been sent for a few minutes it does drop back UMTS:3

I've just (as I type this) had a txt from T Mobile saying I am now on their EE network and it will show up as this now when I reboot the phone. Rebooted and all I can see different is the operator name has changed.

The only 'upgrades' were at the other end, so that all base stations now identify themselves as belonging to "EE". If you look in About phone/Status you'll still see Orange listed as your home network.

The GT-i9100 doesn't support LTE so will never be 4G-ready.

Never considered fixed-line broadband? Up-to-20Mbps d/l connections are now the norm, with 40, 60 and even 100Mbps now available in some areas (with the right supplier).
