Installation Instructions
** Always make a back up first
1. Do a full wipe
** Full wipe includes data/reset factory resotre in recovery, wipe cache, under mounts and storage wipe system, under advanced wipe dalvik
2. Flash the ROM
3. Flash gapps
4. Reboot (this might take some time due to app optimization)
5. Wait few minutes and reboot again
6. Enjoy MIUI and ICS

Only the internal storage gets mounted for some reason. Might need some help with that

Ok first things first, always be sure you know what you are doing before flashing this rom, I am not responsible if your phone spontaniously combusts.

Basic install goes like this:

Bugs and Quirks
# Status bar shows "roaming indicator off" i'll fix this shortly
##to work around the roaming indicator open up ics control and go to carrier options and either turn off or change it to a custom one.
# Status bar shows both 1x and 3g status bars, again i'll fix this shortly
# The lights stay on on the phone buttons (home, menu, search, back) even when screen is shut off
# Keyboard is slightly cut off at the bottom (just install a new keyboard for now and i'll fix it soon)
# Please let me know asap anything else you find.
# Gallery is a little wonky, let me know how it works for you.

Yea rom won't let me do anything not even simple text or phone call...all does force close n freezes saying android process has stop repeatedly it acts like dead rom ....

Boot into recovery, Wipe Data, cache, Dalvik, Re -flash the rom also fix permissions after you re-flash under advanced & it should take care of those force closes, !!
 
Also, make sure you don't restore data from a nandroid from another ROM. That can cause all kinds of problems.
 
So i can't restore my data from cm9 alpha to this
Rom? I don't understand why this rom base off one we using now....
 
I Restore data fine with miui just keeps getting stuck
On stupid n freezes n force close won't even open
Up a single app or text or nothing.... I don't think it data problem
kuz if it was Im pretty sure ken would said something in
Description on top...

I "never" restore my data & it's just there because it's backed up in Google account, as soon as I set up my google account "there's my data right back!!!
 
Doesn't it re download all apps for you once back up on Google ? Or will I have download them myself again
And it will restore data?

Miui. I got phenoms source about 5 min before my wifi shut off so I haven't been able to look at it yet.

Spaz I'm sorry you are having such problems. It doesn't seem like anyone else is having. Did you verify the md5 perhaps it was a bad download.

Also I just discovered mms doesn't work
 
Hello Ken I am having basically the same problem spaz1418 is having. a lot of things just force quite the app "phone" being one example with a "Unfortunately, the process andriod. process.acore has stopped working". I also have a black background and cannot change it and the status bar is not even there. the locker screen background is not black it has the little leaf background . I wiped Dalvik and cache and even tried cfreeman90 idea on fix permission. I however did not wipe for data. Should I try that? spaz said he did and it did nothing so i do not want to waste time on that. By the way ken I love the default launcher did you make it?
