Root eMiui 2.8.3 (unofficial miuiandroid)

Sorry to be that guy, but can anyone else check to see if they can change the keyboard in this ROM? I tried it for about 4 hours earlier, and its awesome... Except for the lack of fully functional keyboard.

Find and download any mdpi ICS 4.0.3/4 keyboard and install it via adb or file explorer to system/apps. Make sure to pull any corresponding lib files. Or just download one of the ICS/JB multi API keyboards fm the playstore.

The key board in the rom is from phenoms cm9. The issue lies in the framework
 
Tried installing a third party keyboard from the play store, and it installed fine. The problem was when I tried to switch to it, itwould crash and hot reboot.
 
I managed to switch to swiftkey (already installed, made it half way through the set up and my phone rebooted) after uninstalling the android keyboard and it works wonderfully.
 
Ok, so as I was walking to the library today I had a really big facepalm moment and came to a realization....im an idiot lol. I should have an update out later today that will fix the keyboard and i'll add at very least a temporary work around to the usb mounting issue.

I almost want to try this out here pretty soon haha. You should get some screenshots from the phone itself and post them in the OP instead of the waaaaay nicer phones you got up there :P

Uploaded a new-ish build. I was able to improve performance a bit, i removed gapps and added a separate link to them, keyboard is no longer cut off but still fc's....read op for more info.

I also updated gsnap and ecksperia......

All I'm getting is a boot loop from the update, Tried both links, (They both say "Virgin")
