Eris to v2.x, when?

Google Nav is cool and all, I just want 2.1 to solve my stupid 2,000+ text message thread problem. I've read ALL, and I mean all, of the tips and tricks of deleting lengthy message threads. Non work. It would be nice to have an auto delete feature like my old lg env had.

No it's not. There was speculation that we'd be getting 2.0 or 2.0.1 since they might want to keep 2.1 to their high end phones. It's nice to finally have confirmation that we'll be getting 2.1.

The customer is ALWAYS wrong. Rule #1 of working Electronics Retail. However, it should be our choice what features we chose to run on our phones.


Leap is like Expose function on Macs..so I want this funciton...and hoping to it just being simply smoother :). Scenes are still my favorite aspect of Sense, could do without the rest. Hopefully some new widget tweeks too :D

I don't care f*** at all about animated wallpapers...leave them out. :P

This is a link to CNET which further confirms 2.1; no date and confirms VZW can willfully do as they wish with what ever we get on the eris. I do have a question; Will 2.1 allow me to voice dial from my blue tooth? Our state is very close to passing more laws telling what I can and can't do...
 
so. now that we know.... is there anything we need/can do to backup data on our phones? just to be ready. what about apps? can those be backed up?
