Root Evil Eris 2.0 with OC and Apps2SD is Here!

we you able to get this to workout. I used grdlocks zip file for removing the lockscreen. it gave me the lock I want, but not the transparency. If anyone could give me a link for the transparent one I would appreciate it.

Ditto on the transparency. I loved it on grdock's VanillaDroid and it's such a tiny piece, but I really liked it!

Has anyone noticed any slowdowns in their app performance after installing this?
(Not saying I do just want to know if others have)

Mine definitely loaded faster, but that's before I fill it with useless crap. :p I don't know what your definition of fast is, but think it's quite responsive.

Nope, after not being able to get that to work and my soft keys not lighting up, I switched back to aloysious v9 and am loving my transparent ls, which i changed to the nexus lock as well. OC doesnt work, and dont really need app2sd so EE2.0 doesnt have that much appeal to me. I would send you the apk for the aloysius lock but there isnt one since I deleted it for the nexus lock. Id say ask spencer what he did to remove the clock and get transparency for his rom, and you should be able to do it to the EE2.0 rom.

EDIT: have you tried this? I gave it a shot really quick but didnt work too well for me on EE.

im not sure about the lockscreens, i just posted the ROM, did make it myself. the a2sd work was done by me but the rest is all done by framework. ill be happy to help with what i can, but when it comes to specific mods of the rom im probably not going to be much help

If I seem at all ungrateful, that's not the case. This is a great ROM, and with apps2sd it frees up all that space. If we're "complaining" about one tiny feature that is a pretty damn good thing, isn't it? :)

i didnt mean to come off that way, ive been getting emails all day asking for help, which im happy to do. as jrussel lol. i was on gchat with him till about 2 last night and for a few hours today.
the thing is though, for many of the issues theres nothing i can do. many of you expect me to be able to fix it, but sadly i can't.

im not saying dont ask for help! if theres anything i can do, i will, but dont get too disappointed when i cant

Oh, I know you guys have been busting tail on this. A huge thank you from me and the rest of the community to you and the rest of the developers who give so much of their time and talent. Rock on!

ya, evil eris is a super fast rom to begin with. add in 150MB of free internal storage, and overclocking coming soon....this thing is going to be ON FIRE!

Alright, so I got this ROM all set up on my phone, with my apps restored with Titanium Backup and then I put my phone to sleep. Now everytime I wake it up, seconds later it will show the HTC quietly brilliant screen. It does this on a seemingly endless loop. I tried a battery pull and it's still doing it. Am I the only one experiencing this?

do not use a titanium backup when going to a a2sd enabled rom. it will create some massive issues in the directory.

also did you make sure you partitioned your sd card before flashing the rom? this is an EXTREMELY important step

I partitioned it correctly. So should I restore to the NANDroid backup I made and start the process all over without using titanium backup? Or is there something else I can do?

yes, when using a2sd there is really no need for a titanium backup

did you partition your sd card before or after you did the nand backup?
if before then you will be good, but if you backed up before then you will have to go in and re-partition your sd carrd again.

Since I had a good NAND backup, I figured I could do some toying around so I opened the recovery image and did a Dalvik and data wipe then reflashed the ROM. This seems to have fixed it, and I still have all of my apps.
