Root Evo completely frozen? Serious problems with the OS

Hello to everyone!

I've a serious problem with my EVO 4G+ (I think android 4.0.3 is mounted).
Two hours ago a strange screen randomly appeared when i push the hold button for awakeing mi mobile phone. Now this screen is permanently on, I've tried a lot of times removing the battery and then booting the device but that screen is still there..
That screen is simply a lots of pixel of various colors and a white line on the top.
Pushing the vol down and hold button i can access to what I think is the bootloader (4EXT Recovery Touch), but seems frozen or extremely slow.

I really don't know what to do... I need that phone so bad because only with it i can write and read chinese characters.

Hoping to find help.

Thank you so much!

From the bootloader now I've done the factory reset but nothing is changed...

At least I've learned that screen appear when the deviced is loading, however using it is barely impossible.

Can you post here what your bootloader screen says?
Are you rooted?
When you are in your bootloader screen, does the screen appear normal looking?

I think is rooted but i'm not sure.

Now I'm trying to make the bootloader appearing again for answering to your question about what it says but the device doesn't want to turn on.. The screen was appearing normal looking but was very very slow.

hmmm...is you battery charged I would assume? You have the Evo 4g? Do you get a status light at all? (Green, orange, red or some color?)

The model is HTC EVO 4G+ (a guide told me to post here).

The battery was charged but now i don't get a status light at all, even the orange one.

Does your phone look like this?

The first one is my model, the EVO 4G+.
ah, gotcha. That phone is known as the HTC Rider.
Unfortunately, that phone is not very popular here. I found it in the Archived phone section...not a lot going on there.

So, stand by, let me see if any of my friends know about this phone k?

Thank you my friend.
Now I'm going to sleep (1.41am here...), I hope you'll find something to help me.

Thank you again!

So now the phone wont even turn on?
How old is your battery? When you plug it in, do you get anything? Do you have a different cord to use? Or another battery?

Edit: just saw your post...get a good sleep, I'll see what I can find out for ya :)

I'm not fall asleep yet :P
Yes, the phone wont even turn on, both the batteries are new (not even a month). Now, when I plug it in, not even the orange status light appears...
Now I'm charging the batteries with an external charger and tomorrow I'll try again.

Thank you again ;)

Hi again!

The phones is able to turn on (alwais with that screen) and when turned on the orange status light will appear if pluged in. If switched off the orange status will appear with a delay, but if I try to start the bootloader (vol down + hold button) the light disapper and nothing happen, and if I try to turn it on with the normal way after that this don't happen.

I really do not know what to do...

During the course of the day, I was looking for some answers online.
Wow, not very much info for that phone.
Looks like it was released in Korea or something, I dont remember.
However, I will do my best to help you.

Can you get into the bootloader with it plugged into the charger?

Thank you so much!

I can't, the only one answer from my phone is turning off the orange status light.

If there is an "umbrella way" for formatting all and installing again the OS it's ok for me, losing data is ok.

EDIT: just saw your post, I have 2 batteries and wont work with both of them :(

ummm, not without getting into the bootloader or turning the phone on.
I would suggest starting with a new battery.

Edit: ah, geez! now I saw your post lol...stand by :)

I've tried again turning on the device (sometimes I left the vol down button before the hold one when i get no answer from my phone, and sometimes the device turn on, alwais with that screen), the orange light was disappeard as usual but when the device turned on a green status light appeared (the screen is alwais the same).

Do you need a photo of the screen?

Sure, if you can. Can you navigate the phone with the screen like it is?
If there was a way to get into bootloader, you can reset from there.
Otherwise, you said when you did get into bootloader, the screen appeared normal correct?
It just may be hardware related.

I think so, indeed I've already done the factory reset when the bootloader was slowly working, I was able to see the desktop was changed but the phone frozen again and after that nothing is changed.

No, I'm unable to navigate, unfortunately...

The photo was taken when the green light was turned on, but nothing is changed.

I wonder if there is an ruu available for that device....let me look around a minute :)

Is it possible to try to get to bootloader again and post back here what it says on that screen?

I've tried several times but i can't. There are other ways for starting the bootloader? I know only the "first vol-down then hold button and wait" way.

I am not sure. There is so little information around for your device, the only thing I have found is this, but without access to your screen or bootloader, I just don't know what else to do.

I will keep looking for something tho, I promise:)

Edit: I found some ruu's for your device but cannot be sure which is right for you. Besides that, you cannot get into bootloader atm to run these from your computer.

I am more or less collecting bookmarks here in case I find something else or you can get into bootloader :)

Thank you! But I don't have many experience, what do you suggest me to do? (for example I don't know what a ruu's is or how can I start the bootloader from the pc -that would be nice-)
