Root evo is stuck on reboot.

Because I am a new user I can't quote the options I had from a previous thread... but basically it said to download this PC36IMG thing and put it on the sd card, after I rebooted it the bootloader didn't ask me if I wanted to update anything... so again I'm lost!
I don't know much about this kind of stuff so anyone that can help me I would appreciate it like crazy! HTC pretty much said they couldn't do anything unless I sent it in!

ok in order for us to help you, we need some more info. what is your hboot? power off the phone (make sure that fastboot is turned off, settings>apps>uncheck fastboot) then press and hold power+vol down.

just report back what you see on the screen and we can take it from there.

What lead up to this bootloop? Did you do anything to the device recently?

PC36IMG is a very general file name. So can you explain to us what it is your trying to accomplish and I'm sure we can get you there. The Extention of the PC36IMG is .zip and not .zip.zip correct? Please be as specific as possible of whats going on and what your trying to accomplish. This is very important for us to understand how to help you and get you on the right track.
