Root Evo Port Test ROMs | Droid Incredible

too early to pick a horse lol. maybe after the ota if it lives up to the hype.

We need the Android equivalent of a boot menu asking which OS (ROM) we want to boot into.

In any case I'm running the test version of the stock 2.2 right now with very few issues. My crusade against Sense still stands but it's behaving a little better right now, though it's still killing my battery life (just not as much as it used to).

Meaning he can fix it on his end?

Oh man that would be sweet.

The last update I saw on the Wireless Tether was that he had an EVO test build that would broadcast the SSID, however no IPs were being issued.

I should have updated on this earlier, but for some reason, I have a hard time finding threads in this section of the forum.

Just wanted to say thanks for this ROM. Best one I've used so far. Could be placebo, but seems to have a better signal and very smooth. I intend to use this until a true source build is made.

Yeah was interesting to discover upon reboot. Ironically the charging icon appears properly just not the normal one. I wont even begin to try and understand why.

Andrynalyne, thank you so much for the port!!! I will test out too... I do need to wipe from test to test, correct?

Curious how is this one compared to Incredible froyo in performance. :)

I will try to upload one more test either tonight or tommorrow. This may very well turn into the final deal.

Everything seems to be working.
Both storages mount to PC as they should.
Sprint settings are gone!

The phone portion is acting a little wonky though. So until I get that figured out, I won't upload it.

If you folks want to hold off, test5 is uploading.

THIS is the version to hold out for.

-No sprint settings.
-proper aGPS settings.
-proper mounting settings.
-proper wifi settings.
-Able to disable HTC Sense Rosie.
-Phone appears to work properly
-Cleaner MMS app.
-All Evo framework. Also gives a nicer signal bar.

What about bloatware? Do we use adb to rid of things or are they gone? :p

Alright...I got an issue... my phone is going between "HTC quitely brilliant" screen and "DROID" ...and wont boot... what did I do? :D
