Accessories EVO Screen Protectors Thread

I just got my Clear Amzer protectors in the mail and put it on. So far so good. Feels exactly like the screen and it is very clear.

I also have the Boxwave ones on order. I will keep this one until i get my boxwave.
 
Fuken screen protectors are a bitch to put on. I got the Clarivue ones and I messed up the first one, and the second I did i got some dust under it. I ordered 2 more just so I will have it perfect.
 
Could someone tell me the best way to protect my EVO while my stupid Clarivue gets here? It's been a solid 11 business days since placing my order and they're telling me to wait some more.

Should I just wear basketball shorts and put it in those pockets? Or a plastic bag or what?

Oh, I'm a guy, so no purse :(

Keep the stock screen plasticc over it lol
 
StealthGuards the pre has BestSkinsEver so the stealth has little bit less orange peel

I just installed a BodyGuardz (been using them for many years on a variety of devices) and they are excellent as usual.
 
Apparently I'm getting a Zagg because my BB had a bundle with that, a car charger, and a decent case for like $60. So I figured might as well...
 
QUESTION: Is it normal to have streaks inbetween your protective screen and the phones screen 12+ hours after installing it? The screen is set and all the bubbles are gone but the whole screen looks streaky and I don't know if it is because it may still be moist or if it is just something that is going to stay that way.
 
Just my 2 pennies in a fountain but the Zagg shield went on super sweet and I'm half in the bag


And I actually like the feel of it

waaah they shipped my phone already =/ and i don't have a case or screen protector yet @@. So i heard zagg is not that great? how about the seido stuff wasn't sure if i wanted to order both screen protector and case online or just get it at bestbuy

i'm interested in this too.. what's the general though on screen protector AND case? should a solid case be good enough to function as both? any suggestions?

personally i don't like the added size of a case and was going protector only... i'm thinking my phone won't get too much physical abuse day to day.. but not sure!
 
dcmugen on eBay finally has screen protectors for the EVO. I've used them on my old e71, nexus one, and will now use them on the EVO. They are high quality and excellent at a GREAT price - 3 for $5. He has both clear and matte ones (I've used the matte ones).

The only problem is that they take a bit shipping from Hong Kong but it's well worth it.
 
In case anyone was wondering, I've decided to put my EVO in a large wristband during these next few days until my Clarivue gets here.

So far so good :)
 
Whatever you do, don't get the Sprint ones - they suck! I got it for a temp so I can figure out one that I can have installed (that way if it isn't put on right, it isn't my fault).
 
Anyone with Zagg care to comment on how it affects the touchscreen? Zagg tends to have a bit more 'friction' and texture in my opinion..

I'm wondering because I got my Zagg I picked up during their sale last week.. but now debating going with another SP

My coworker put my Seidio clear protector on yesterday. He said it felt cheap allynd he didn't like it. He also said what someone above mentioned that it didn't fit exactly right and go all the way to the bottom. He messed it up in one little spot but it was good enough until my Calrivue ones came. Well tonight I come home and my Calrivue ones are here. I ordered a pack of clear and Anti Glare but I think I want the clear on there. I have a friend on the way over and he said he will put it on for me. I just want it perfect for my new phone and the seidio on there now I can see where it's messed up in the bottom corner and it's bugging me. I hope we like the calrivue ones. He was going to try the clear and I was going to do the Anti Glare but now we both want clear. Phone is awesome BTW!

just curious why you prefer the clear to antiglare? is there any texture difference or does it appear different?

I don't know which I prefer to be honest. I never have used an Anti Glare. I am just going by a couple people on different threads who said they like the look of the clear better on your screen.

Anti-glare has a different texture and makes the display a little fuzzier. If you have a matte LCD computer monitor..touch it..that's what the anti-glare feels like.

I prefer the anti-glare because it helps with smudges (I have a natural oily face), and it makes browsing a lot easier since it's smoother.
