Root Evo4g unroot issue

You shouldnt have to run an RUU to do that. You are trying to do this with the new phone correct? Have you downloaded the usb drivers and unzipped them like the Rooting guide says to do?
 
What happens when you turn on debugging on your phone and plug the usb cable into the pc and the phone? Does it look for drivers and then ask you if you have drivers for it?

no offence taking my kids allways correct me to. I can tur the debbugin on the phone becouse there is noting on recovery except
