Facebook app update available in the market

So I get MESSAGES pushed in real time, but nothing else. However, if I open the app, go into Notifications, it refreshes automatically and usually gives me any new comments/likes/etc. at that time. The whole point of "Pushing" is to limit the time spent in the app itself, and only accessing the notifications received. Anyone else notice this? If you open the FB app, hit back (since it opens to your wall), and click on NOTIFICATIONS. Do your messages/comments/likes push at that time?

btw, chat seems to be working fine for me. Although, there have been a few times where it just: "Loading..." forever, until I back out.

Mine works most of the time....it took days before it did so I still think it's a FB issue. The app itself is most annoying now in that that the Notifications list is slower than molasses. The app always seems to start on this page as well which is not exactly what I want either.

And please oh please will they make the font size configurable...sorry OT rant of mine.

Absolutely hilarious that Facebook has let this go for 12 days with no definite signs of progress.

It would be nice to see at least one of the larger tech/Android blogs pick this up, but none of them seem too interested.

It would be nicer for someone on the dev team to respond to the official facebook for android page. I check it every few days just to see how many more people are bitching at them for this mess.

Well, yeah, but I feel like if they haven't addressed it there by now, they probably won't until someone (i.e. tech blog) with a substantial readership does a writeup questioning the situation. Or hell, even if a blog could reach out to Facebook for an explanation, they would probably have a better chance of getting a legit response.
