Root Faster PRLs

This is just not working at all!? I'm wen't to ctmod to miui to cm7 and not one of them will work. I can't even enter in the codes in the dialers? What am I doing wrong?

Someone has got to give better directions... What roms will this even work on?? The guy here said it will work on gingerbread? http://androidforums.com/galaxy-pre...peedtest-net-results-after-couple-tweaks.html okay is that stock gingerbread or ctmod or what? No on is explaining things for changing prl's correctly?

And nobody seems to be mentioning there are TWO dialer codes you need.
Go to rooted stock or Ctmod 2.5 when they work still and do
##8778#
And
##7678#

Gotta do both. Cdmaws just did mine from ej06 stock root couple hours ago

That's correct. CDMA will reboot your phone when you close out of it then you will need to go back in to the hidden menu and take it out of DM.;)

LOL. Just kidding. Actually I'm not sure. That's the way it was before I changed it so that's the way I put it back when I was finished. There's a reason it comes from the factory like that. Have you tried Google yet. You may find the answer there. Also, maybe lMonsterl (member) could answer that. A friendly PM may get the answer you're looking for. ;)
 
I forgot to change back agree I change and speedtest said over 1mb dl. after change back it half that. I tried 3 prlz n notice that every time. I figured it was glitch in app or false reading but had to go before I could investigate
 
Im now using the 12121.prl with network vision and its great! I get 670-723 kbps download compared to old 400. Im still looking to tweak it even more. If you can link me to any tweaks you've used and worked i would greatly appreciate it
 
11115 and 11119 worked ok for me. But 60678 has to be the best one i've tried so far. While 11115 ans 11119 both stayed mostly between 200-500 kbps and peaking at about 1100 kbps (tested w/speed.net) 60678 averaged 600-800 and got several 1900kps scores.

Ctmod 3.6 with all speed tweaks ecept for IPV4 script.
 
Would it be considered roaming if I just switched out to another sprint prl and not verizon? Every time I switch to a sprint prl it does not say I'm roaming, but if I switch to a verizon prl it says roaming?

EDIT:
Another odd thing.. If I flash CTMOD2.5 to change my prl I get better signal. If I restore the latest CTMOD My signal drops dramatically?

2.5 uses a different signal meter i think it has 5 bars while 3.6 has 4 bars really the only accurate way to check would be go to settings,about phone scroll to signal strenth and check it mine normally is -85 dBm

Mines about -90dBm but as soon as I do anything with internet the signal drops all the way down and I get the stupid error time out and what not?
