Fatalities 2024

Former actress and supermodel Dayle Haddon has died of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. She was 76.

RIP, Ms. Haddon, with condolences to your fans, friends, family and loved ones.

Hi, Steven.
I know it’s more work for you and the rest of the staff, but it makes sense to leave it open, for a couple of reasons.

First, we sometimes find out about a notable death that occurred the previous year, and that way it can go where it belongs (cf. Joe71’s recent posts, which unfortunately had the side-effect of bumping the thread back up where it was too easily found).

Second, I think it’s helpful to go back in and update certain deaths as more details surface (such as cause of death, criminal charges, etc.).

Of course people have to pay attention (yes, I’m talking to you, bearsyzf, ;) and the awful tragedy is already in the 2025 thread) and when they don’t, maybe the mods can move them to the correct thread?

Naturally this is all just my opinion, but that’s what seems to make the most sense to me.
