Fatality: 2021

Okay this is a bit weird, I had a dream that Actor John Bernthal, committed suicide.:mad::(. It happens on live TV:rolleyes:, he's caught up in some scandal or something, he said thanks to someone for ruining his life. He looks at the camera puts a gun under his chin and plays Russian Roulette, pistol dry fires two times and goes off the third time. It was very very weird,

Just read about his passing

Singer/songwriter B.J. Thomas has succumbed to lung cancer at 77.

He was really gifted and always seemed to enjoy entertaining.

RIP, Mr. Thomas, and thanks for sharing your talents. Say hi to Paul Newman when you see him, that scene is forever connected in my head to your monster hit “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on my Head.”

^^^ I was literally thinking of him a couple of hours ago while watching the film “Shooter.” He was always enjoyable in any role he had.

RIP, Ned, and thanks for all the entertainment.

Donald Rumsfeld died yesterday at his home in Taos, N.M. due to multiple myeloma. He was 88.

RIP, Mr. Rumsfeld, and thanks for your service, often under really awful circumstances. Hope you didn’t suffer; cancer is horrid.

Legendary director and producer Richard Donner, who’s been doing it since before cars had seatbelts and is perhaps best known for Superman and Lethal Weapon, has passed away at the age of 91. That’s a good long life and he loved what he did; we should all be so lucky.

RIP, Mr. Donner, and thanks for sharing your talents with us for so long.

Longtime Hollywood figure (actor, filmmaker, etc.) Robert Downey, Sr., has died at 85. (His son is the acclaimed actor Robert Downey, Jr., who almost miraculously turned his career around after nearly flushing it.)

RIP, Mr. Downey, Sr., and thanks for sharing your talents for so long.

I caught most of the 1966 film “Grand Prix” today and was reminded how attractive she was. Just 25 when she made that movie and a whole lot of poise for that age.
(Watching the beginning of the film I was also reminded how curious it was that they had several minutes of “OVERTURE” before the lion roared and the movie actually started. That was common for musicals of the era, but it’s an oddity for a drama…)

Character actor Charlie Robinson, probably best known for his role as Mac on the sitcom “Night Court,” has died at 75. The official cause of death was cancer and cardiac arrest.

He was always in the moment and got every little bit out of each scene he had. And he sure seemed to enjoy his work.

RIP, Mr. Robinson, and thanks for entertaining us with your talents.

Not sure how I missed this one, but I learned today that filmmaker John Hughes died of a sudden heart attack back in August of 2009. He was only 59. Am I the only one who didn’t hear about it?

Anyway, hope you are resting in peace, John. Thanks for making so many silly, wonderful movies and helping lots of great actors launch their careers.
