Favorite App so far.... Developers please see link to Announcements above.

Some apps I admire:

Pocket:To store passwords safely.Never bothered about it until I recently did a factory reset, I got all my passwords back because it can be synced with Dropbox. So no problem if you change your phone or worse lose it. Of course it has a master password you need to remember.

ES file explorer: The best explorer out there. Have tried Astro,File expert,Androzip and a lot more. But I must say ES is the best. The copy-paste is easier, for those who have rooted it serves as root explorer( can mount as writable),the UI is cool also you can add your dropbox/gdrive/box accounts and browse through them seamlessly.(You don't need the dropbox app anymore). You can browse files through bluetooth, add FTP servers and a lot more. Do try it. It is FREE

Premotedroid: Makes your android a remote to your pc,Use the screen as touchpad and control the cursor through bluetooth/wi-fi. Also supports keyboard entry.

My favs. (in no particular order:D )

TERMINAL EMULATOR. <-- #1 most used app (besides launcher, obviously lol)

Adw ex- SUPER customizable home replacement. LOADS of options and themes.

Beautiful widgets- only widget i use. I am totally addicted to the superclock/weather widget. SOOOOOO customizable

Alarm clock extreme (has 'gentle alarm' feature. Starts out quiet and gets louder. Appearance can be changed

(Can you tell i like having options?:D )

Archidroid- archive creator. Simple user interface. Very easy to use.

DROPBOX! (duh) gigs of cloud storage. Easily upload and link others to your files.

Es File explorer- free root explorer. Can mount system as rw. <-- #2 most used app

Tapatalk- forum browsing app. MUCH faster than browser and unlike the phandroid app, if you turn notifications off, it doesn't run in the background.

Autostarts- let's you decide what app is allowed to start (on its own) and under what circumstances. I turned off EVERYTHING un needed. Phone boots about 20 sec faster. (i realize this could probably stop phandroid app from running in the background, but i already bought tapatalk:rolleyes: )

Mx player- free! plays most video formats (more than stock player)

Photobucket- dropbox for photos;)

Ad Free- ad blocker.

Gallery Lock- password protects photos/videos. Pro version can be 'hidden' from view , and accessed via dialer code

Swype beta- small screen + fat fingers = hard to type. Swype makes touchscreen based communication streamlined!

Oh! I almost forgot... The best freaking app ever SUPERUSER! without which alot of my favorite apps would be useless.

I'm sure there are more, but this is my "can't live without " list

Rooting is only as dangerous as you are. It let's you access the part of the phone that provides functionality. Delete the wrong thing, and no more phone. But if you are careful, and diligent in your research, the risk is minimal.

Thanks TDM, it's a nice list.
iOnRoad is an interesting concept but it got bad reviews (maybe because the driver is busy looking at the phone in fron of her/him instead of road?!). But, anyway, the paid version got a much better review.

MoreQuicklyPanel - this app has one of the JB features that allows you to quickly access the control panel from your notification.

Seems to be quite popular right now. It only works on ICS or higher.

I just installed a locker program. I'm not sure I like that. I agree on the driving distractions thing too. When you lose a few friends from texting and driving you'll understand.

That looks awesome, I think I am going to give it a shot because of the battery meter. I have loved having those customizable toggles ever since it became part of the CM ROM, but this looks like it has even more options!

Flipboard- Just right for my local news, instagram updates and other relevant news reports.

Sense Analog Clock Widget - It just doesn't look android until we have the all-powerful HTC Sense Clock. It tells me of my battery and SD card space.

Tilt Arena - Whenever you want to waste time with a good game. Try this on. Best. Game. Ever.

KakaoTalk - Good online chat client, especially since most of my contacts and clients are Korean, not to mention my gf who has an Epic 4G Touch :D. Hehehe

I downloaded Waze and have used it. Most of the functionality is passive so you just have to have the app open on your phone.

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not but I just found it today. It's called multipicture live wallpaper. You can set a folder of pics & it have a different pic on each scree. Here are mine. I don't have my phone set all the way up yet, I just wiped & partitioned my sdcard.
