Favorite breakfast?

Well went to Trader's joe when I was on my vacation, found these addicting fig bars and the name is, "A peach walked into a bar" on the wrapper and on the package, very delicious product, that and peanut butter crunchy on a plain bagle.
Trader Joe's is awesome!!!

Not even close to the quality at the Joe's. You're comparing prime rib to a Subway Steak & Cheese 😊
Yeah I had only like six bucks to spend over there, when in Hingman mass.. (It was a quick hop through the tabolt's after lunch at Alma Nove's next door to Walburger's joint).

Has anyone ever eaten at a Walburgers? Are they any good or just one of those overrated places with a celebrity owner.

I remember when Whataburger opened here, it was such a huge thing, probably one of the worst burgers I've ever had at a fast food joint. So bland. Everytime we drive by there it is never busy. I wonder how they stay open. I'd go to McDonald's over Whataburger and wouldn't think twice about it.

The Honey Chicken Biscuits at Whataburger are legit though.

I always like the fast food franchise that either doesn't survive or can't compete in my local economy. Let me name off a few... Griff's, Vista Burger, Shakey's Pizza, Alfie's, Walt's, Bionic Burger, and Taco Grande just to name a few.

- I asked my brother in law, who is a Nuclear Physcis, do not eat a banana when going to surgery, it will show up on the x-ray btw.

Anyone tried an egg dog? You basically put eggs inside the microwave, spray the bowl first with Pam or anything of that nature, crack a few eggs, then you find yourself a decent hot dog roll, put some cheese inside the hot dog roll and toaster oven that for a few minutes. And you put the egg ontop of the hotdog roll.
Delicious and simple.

I'm an omalet kinda guy.
Meats...ham, turkey, beef, bacon, sausage... whatever we have on hand.
Cheese... gotta be cheddar or jack.
Onions, mushrooms if available.
Fresh tomato on the side.
Yeah same here, I was thinking if anyone wants to try it with all kinds of toppings and everything,
I have to prep more time ahead when cooking :)

I'm on meat, dairy, fish, eggs-free diet for a couple of weeks. Breakfast has tofu in it. I'd call it vegan, but my philosophy doesn't nearly qualify for that. I'm conservative.

I love breakfast. I had breakfast every morning while growing up. If we had cereal it was cooked oatmeal. It was fried bacon or sausage and sunny side up eggs with hashbrowns or grits. :) Once in a while I break down and fix the meal for dinner. I haven't eaten a morning or noon meal in decades.

Okay not your typical breakfast :D . I was planning on something for dinner last night but couldn't get somethings i needed, I was also dead tired :maskeddroid:
I was probably sound a sleep about thirty minutes after I stopped driving last
Woke up around 3am hungry and this is what I warm up

I'm not a breakfast person. Strong coffee to get my pulse started again; and a protein bar or shake to give my system some calorie-burning busy work.

Coming from Southern parents who came from Southern parents, we ate a lot of grits at breakfast. I love grits! A couple soft eggs on a big pile of buttered grits and I'm in breakfast heaven. With my wife's influence, I raised four children that thought grits were the nastiest thing besides dirt to put on a breakfast plate. If I was to fix a breakfast for dinner, trust me, I'd have some grits.
We enjoyed a Cajun and creole restaurant that served grits as a side dish. It consisted of grits, melted cheese, and diced jalapenos. I'm guessing it had some garlic as well. Sadly, they went out of business.

I was weaned on grits. In fact, my Grandma would make what she called "grit puddue" and it's enough to hear angels sing with every bite:

A nice bowl of hot grits
Lots of real dairy butter
A slice of American, or shredded Colby-Jack cheese melted in
2 or 3 slices of crispy bacon crumbled in
2 eggs cooked medium and cut in
Salt and pepper to taste

Try that, @olbriar and thank me later.

Yes Sir, that's what I'm talking about!
