Favorite canceled TV show?

Actually a very recent show: "Last Resort". Claiming it didn't bring in the ratings Cbs was hoping for. Canceled after one season :(

My husband likes that one, I couldn't get interested (too much hopping around in the pilot introducing too many characters setting up too much soap opera to keep track of that early on).

Mike Rowe getting too much money from Ford to get his hands dirty anymore?

My guess is Discovery's feeling a need to clear schedule space for "reality" shows. Network decay strikes again. Dirty Jobs is gone, Mythbusters seems perilously close to shark-jumping (if they're not already there), I don't have much remaining reason to keep Discovery (which is a major reason I keep cable).

Dirty sexy money
Gossip girl (this is the last season)
One Tree Hill
The Firm

I'm sure there are more, just can't think of them right now

Firefly
Crusade (didn't have a chance to gel)
Farsape
Stargate Universe
Twin Peaks
Highlander (of course how do you keep a show about immortals with aging actors)

Trauma -- A show about the lives of paramedics.

Firefly -- duh

The River-- Only aired this year, I thought it was a really cool show but apparently I was in the minority.

Dollhouse (rewatching on netflix now :))
Lie to me (will be adding to my netflix queue)
I loved both shows, but Dollhouse in particular developed so fast that they had nowhere to take the plot after two seasons. Of only they had taken their time. Maybe they were forced to race the cancellation axe (and lost anyway), who knows. Lie To Me went over the top pretty quickly too, but not so much that they couldn't have gotten another season or two out of it.

I've also heard that they'll have a conclusion to the show. Hopefully it wasn't a rumor.
Conclusion or no, the word is that the whole 13 episodes will air.

I deleted the series from my TiVo. Watching a canceled TV show is like making out with another man's wife. It can be thrilling for a while, but sooner or later it will end badly.

I really want to see the ending to star gate universe. So unfinished when they canned it :(

I think that someone should start a company that buys up these cancelled shows and either continues them or at least provides closure with a 3 part mini-series. They could also presell the DVDs on Kickstarter to get some capital.

Here is my list of ones cancelled too early.

Firefly (brilliant show - every minute a joy to watch and some of the best lines ever - and an awesome ballad for intro music.)

Terra Nova
Tru Calling
Defying Gravity
Legend of the Seeker
Life

C.H.I.P.S.
or Emergency 51(Think that was the number)?
Will be surprised if anyone remembers these two:eek:

Yep I do

So do I. Loved both of them.

I'm kind of sorry HBO cancelled Hung. I thought the premise was hilarious, and I really liked Thomas Jane in it.

<edit> Okay, everybody's saying Firefly, and I know nothing about it. I just added it to my instant queue on Netflix.
