So I usually don't make threads and I barely post, but I thought I would make a poll....what's your favorite soda/pop.

I rarely drink Soda, unless I'm making a Root Beer or Creamsicle float.

Although the other day I did have half of a Fresca, for a walk down memory lane.
 
Homemade root beer, then Coke, then adult beverages that can often incorporate any number of soda pop concoctions.
 
Typically, Dr. Pepper is my soda of choice. However, I've recently been enjoying Cheerwine after using it as the subject of an advertising plan for a college project. I don't know why, but the stuff is just REALLY good.

He has to make sure his post count stays up....oooh I love Code Red....and I do like Cherry Pepsi more than Cherry Coke.

What makes you think that I was referring to myself? Don't assume things.

Sprite is the way to go.

It doesn't matter if he was referring to you, you make the reference to yourself, when you commented. I didn't make this poll for those who DON'T drink, I made it for those who DO drink.

If they want to make a poll for those who do not drink, then they can.

Oh you can add a little Crush Grape soda from the bottle to that list. It's quite refreshing.
 
I voted for coke because I knew no one would know my favorite soda. My favorite soda is called SKI. Its a mix of mountain dew and sun drop. They use all real fruit and real sugar. Good stuff. You can only get it in certain parts of Southern IN and IL, KY and TN.
 
I voted for other being that my favorite is Faygo Red Pop and just about any other kind of Faygo. However it's rather hard to find in the south (QT only place I know of) so I drink Dr. Pepper for the most part.
 
I don't drunk much soda anymore, but when I did my favorites were:

New York Seltzer
Squirt
A&W Cream Soda
Strawberry Fanta
Cherry Coke
 
What about the sub-categories?

For example, I just picked up a four-pack of Coke in those famous thick green glass bottles with an actual bottle cap, no screw caps. You can, of course, purchase Coke in glass; they are those squat little clear glass bottles with a wrapper and readily available. You can purchase Coke in one liter plastic bottles, too.

But Coke in the traditional bottle just tastes better.

So I vote for original Coke in original glass bottles.

Then there are old style vending machines for those original bottles. In some cases, they are so cold that ice forms in the bottle when you open it.

So I am changing my vote.

I vote for original coke, in original bottles, vended from original coke machines on an original hot summer day, wearing my cutoffs, riding my mini-bike, and wearing my red ball Keds. All the while, dodging the truant officers.

Best thing ever.

Change Coke to Dr. Pepper or Grape/Orange Nehi and I'm right there with ya!

It has something to do with the coldness of the machine, the bottle's shape and material, and the real bottle caps. Makes every soda pop better, including the assorted Nehi flavors and Dr. Pepper.
 
I cant function with out my mtn. dew. as far as finding Faygo in the south. either BJ's wholesale club or sams cariies it, and also most Dollar trees carry the 3L bottles. all I have seen are Orange, Lemon lime, Grape, and pineapple though, no red pop:(

Ski is the shiznit! I picked up a bottle by accident when traveling through wv kentucky, illinois. best mistake ever.
