Well, no happy ending for me.I called Verizon again today because I realized I didn't have a tracking number for the new package. The rep I spoke with this morning said, "There is no way Jay could have promised you a phone that is not available." I couldn't believe it. No notes in my account indicating a phone would be delivered today. Only notes in account said a new order was submitted for late August delivery.
So, I'm back to getting a refund. The Verizon rep said the initial refund request was never canceled. So, that is still in their system. I told her I didn't care because I was going to get my credit card company to file a fraud claim against them.
I called my credit card company and they are giving me a credit for the amount of the phone and will notify Verizon of the dispute. So, at least I have my money back now.
Just so tired of being lied to by all of the people I spoke with. This ordeal started bad then I thought it was resolved only to have the rug pulled from underneath me. I'm sick.
I have been following this thread from the beginning, and I'm really sorry for what you've had to go through. What Verizon has done is inexcusable! I have always been satisfied in my over ten years with them, but it sure shows me what they're capable of!
You have exhibited great self-control through all of this!
