Ya know, there is such a simple thing as a "wave", but the way that Elon did it, it was definitely a salute. Even if it wasn't, it was close enough that an explanation should have been immediately given instead of an excuse. Ya can't cherry pick other photos without the context. Elon had enough in his that even the Germans said that it (Elon's) was definitely a salute.
I think the lesson, here, is that you can take anything out of context and make it look like whatever you want. It's clear there was no Heil Hitler going on here with anyone. Am I an AOC fan... uh no... but she wasn't honoring Hitler either. You all should move on. That's not a mod suggestion, but a friend one.
sure that is easy......as @Steven58 said....all of those pictures were either taken out context.....i mean anybody can look like they are doing the salute when in actuality they are waving or saying hi....or they could have been doctored. i do not know where those photos came from. anybody can make those photos pretty easily.

To me, in context, it looked like he was throwing his heart out to everyone. Granted it looked like a sieg heil, but so did AOCs. That's my feeling about it. He's an excitible ultra nerd. They act awkwardly.
