its based on the individual not the current level they can thus achieve, cause if you think about this
as a ssj goku, vegeta, and future trunks couldn't defeat LSSJ Broly
that's 3 SSJ's fighting one

Goku is SSJ4 now
Broly would become so enraged by losing to goku, i do believe he would skip SSJ2 and go straight to 3 and beat the dog snot out of goku, and LSSJ4 Broly cannot be stopped by goku, maybe ssj4 gogetta can, but its not likely, by the power that broly brought to the table, it would only be amplified.

Granted Broly has been dead for so long and goku continues to train. it just doesn't seem plausible that goku can eliminate broly by himself. he can hold his own, but cannot win 1on1

his power may have increased from training, and if broly was able to train or even cared to, cause as you noticed, he wasn't much of a martial artist, then i do believe broly would be the strongest in existence

Your logic is flawed because Goku is way stronger now as a (SSJ4 than he ever was a SSJ 1 or 2, even 3).

Broly is strong, but I don't see him jumping up that much in power by being enraged.

Plus, Broly would not be able to train because he was inherently evil, so he would not have been allowed to keep his body after death. Goku was allowed to keep his body because he was inherently good, almost saintly-like, and saved the Universe so many times, that's why he was able to keep his body and train when he died.

And yes, it's more than plausible that Goku would wipe the floor with Broly even Vegeta could do it easily. I'm not even sure Broly could beat Perfect Cell.

Broly was strong, quite strong at the time he met up and he was defeated, he got left in the dust power level wise. Broly can achieve no more, he is dead and with no body, he is done for.

Goku is only way stronger at SSJ4 because he trained. I even said if broly trained or cared to he would be alot stronger, and yes every dbz fan knows that goku was able to keep his body all the time, because he was a kind soul, but do i think broly could defeat perfect cell? o god yes, Gohan now as SSJ2 might just might be able to put up a fight against broly, cause Goku got power from 2 SSJ's and Piccolo, along with his own, and was able to punch into broly's chest nearly killing him. But it didnt and since he was able to recover he should have become stronger

unfortunately that didnt happen, if you noticed when goku was nearly killed he always came back with double the power, broly did not, even though he took on SSJ2 Goku and SSJ2 Gohan and SSJ Goten Kamehameha wave, but he didnt seem significantly stronger, than what goku and vegeta achieved. They have to keep Goku as the strongest, so the stories will always be ruled in his favour.

but to think that broly would be defeated by vegetta is nonsense () Vegeta gets beat by everyone but for some reason can go head to head with any SSJ of any level and be able to possibly win, or come close to it. Any other villain he gets hit 3 times and he is done for. Not how it should be. So you see the story is geared for goku and goku only.

where time passed and Broly wasnt in the picture anymore, im telling you if broly was able to keep his body and went to hell and actually trained, i doubt hell could contain him, he would be able to wipe the floor with goku, because iim sure he would have ascended and become more powerful, and in the HFIL we saw all the villains there but no broly.... strange if you ask me.

if you remember broly has 2 transformations
SSJ
and LSSJ
so he could in fact transform to SSJ2 and then again to LSSJ2 by the way it should be in his ability because he is the true legendary Super Saiyan. he is only evil because goku was a crybaby and King Vegetta tried to kill him, and thus set off his rage.
