take the battery out and following sticky FAQs put your phone into recovery mode and do recovery as suggested after that the phone will delete all data (will go to factory default settings) and will boot as normal

volume_down+call+power button to boot in to recovery mode then press meny button to start recovering

First I want to thank you guys for your instant replies.

I tried starting in recovery mode following your instructions. But while booting it stops at SAMSUNG image and nothing happens after that. I cant do anything after that. Can you guys please help me out... :-( :-(
 
Tried starting in Fast Boot Mode : call + power but it is still failing to boot.

Now, I'm going to start in download mode and flash it back to H7 using odin and try to boot my galaxy.

Is there any way to revert back to 1.5 (H7 or II5)? Galaxy is not booting after upgrading to donut. I have tried booting in recovery mode, fast mode But while booting it stops at SAMSUNG image and nothing happens after that.

Please HELP me out to make my galaxy work again...

Sorry, this may be ultranewbie, but this is my first time flashing firmware. Everything seemed to go perfectly, until the phone successfully booted at which point it seems to be locked. I'm with bell in Canada.

Thoughts?

Hi, could you possibly tell me where you downloaded yout IH8 please, I'm struggling massively.

When I downloaded the one from http://www.blogsdna.com/7388/samsung-galaxy-i7500-got-android-1-6-donut-firmware-update.htm
I got stuck on the screen saying "android"
 
I've rebooted my phone with the original firmware again (after getting stuck on the samsung screen) and then i reset factory data etc, and now I can't get my galaxy to connect to Odin.

What do I do?
(simple step by step please, I'm an ultrabeginner)
 
Scrap everything I've ever said before, I just changed computers and it worked like a dream.

hi everyone i am the newer in this forum. i have just bought i7500 i don't know how to apply this donut firmware.? how can i comminicate odin and donut file ?? if you have a link i will be appreciated...thanks:confused:
