Root First Ever All In One Deodex Kitchen

I'm just a layman here... but does deodexing mean I can morph into Phoebe Cates' (don't judge me) dild-err... "personal hand-held electronic massager" yet?

It seems to be running fine without any errors. I won't know if it worked or not till it's done and I install it on my phone.

I think you should make a menu for it. Like hit 1 to deodex apks, 2 to deodex jar etc.

This would really be great with the htc basic kitchen.

ya im working on that, its still in the beginning stages.
 
Here's my status update. The kitchen deodexed the files with out issues. After reading you don't need to sign framework-res.apk, if you do you will have bootloops if you try to wipe. Also it didn't create the rom but wasn't a big deal, I just packed and signed it myself. Finally the rom wouldn't boot boot past the first boot screen. I can't wait to see it once it's finished.

its all working fine for me. the issue comes from deodexing the framework files. ive been able to boot no problem with the apk deodexed.
 
Just found this thread, looks a brilliant utility

but

Don't select the Rapidshare link, use the MultiUpload "Direct Download" link...still works for me (I just downloaded it again ;) [Andrizoid's_Deodex_Kitchen_V4.zip 3.39 MB]).
