Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
The next step is to download the ROM, put it on the root of your SD card, boot into recovery and flash it.
Just connect your phone to your computer. The root of your sd card is the directory with all the various folders on it.
Option 1.
If you are coming from ANY other ROM, do this before flashing RCMix with autoinstall script.
- Create a folder named Robocik on the root of sd card, in that folder, create a subfolder named app.user.
- Use file explorer which allows you to go to data folder in your PHONE memory. You need to go to data/app folder, then select all apps, copy and paste them to your newly created Robocik/app.user folder on sd card root. I used Root Explorer, not sure if other file explorers will have same functionality.
- Flash ROM, sit back and enjoy autoinstall
If you read the thread over at XDA, it tells you to create a folder on the root of your SD card and I quote.
Once you've done that, when you flash the rom it will automatically install all your apps for you.
Yes, just the apps you have installed yourself.
Personally I use Root Explorer, but there are free alternatives in the market.
Personally I have always flashed without using the charger, though I do make sure my battery is fully, or almost fully charged.
That's great news and I'm glad we could help.
Just a quick FYI. Go to settings/about phone/updates and untick scheduled update.
This is because you can no longer receive over the air updates and if you were to do so, it would most likely cause untold problems. Better to get rid of that possibility methinks.
It's a great rom to have mate and like you, I spent a few months debating whether to root or not lol.
Part of the rom?!
