Root [FIX] MMS on Sense 4/4.1!

Yup. Did you do a format all partitions (except SD) before flashing the ROM? Also, what tweaks did you select?

Yeah. I don't think I selected any tweaks. Don't really like launchers . I'll play with it tomorrow

$20 TO WHOEVER CAN GIVE ME AN MMS FIX THAT WILL WORK ON ZR3s(preferred) OR CM10

I never post.....long time listener/first time caller. But I just had to find out more about this! I can't seem to get any of the mms patches or fix tricks to work for any custom rom. Harmonia and midnight,those r the only two that have worked for me so far. And I reallllly dig this CM and ZR3d but can't get moms working. I'm on a virgin mobile evo 3d cdma rooted with hboot 1.4. I would greatly appreciate anyone who could help me out. Yea, total noob.

The same fix from the Op of this thread should also apply to ZR3D Rom

Can anyone else confirm if the fix worked for them using the framework-res.apk provided with chubbz gruesome 4.1?

Heythereitsv when you have some time could you double check that that is the right .apk?

Triple checked already xD Try this instead after mounting system from recovery, for some reason, ADB doesn't like to cooperate sometimes-

Code: 
adb remount system
adb shell
rm /system/framework/framework-res.apk
exit
adb push *location of modded framework-res.apk/fix* /system/framework

Factory reset (data/cache/dalvik) + reboot into Android.
 
Tried first method again from step 1. and still have sprintpcs.settings. Tried the second way again and before I reboot it says "saving screenshots" in 4ext and then doesn't boot. Could I just install the 4.1 zip that I swap the file out with?
 
Sweet worked finally, I just installed the Rom with the new apns.xml file. Thanks heythereitsv for posting this and for guidance

The benefit of doing the fix this way is you keep the boot animation
