Root Flashed Bamf 1.5, Lost all my contacts?

I flashed Bamf 1.5, coming from 1.4. Now it seems all my contacts are missing. When I go to backup assistant it does nothing. What should I do, I would hate to loose all my numbers.

You can get the csv file from vzw back up and ad the csv file to your gmail account. So they will sync with your gmail account.

Edit csv file from vzw will contain all your contacts. And by adding that file to your gmail account it will transfer all your contacts to gmail

Log in to vzw backup on your pc, and in the upper right corner, I believe it says transfer contracts then it will prompt you to save/ download a file which would be the csv.

in gmail it is somwhere in the contacts tab where you can import new contacts that is where you ad the csv.

This is just a rough explanation, I can look into it more ina hour or so. Or if someone else can help. Its just been a while since I've done this

Chillout,

what about HTC sync. i just flashed bamf 1.5 also and got everything back very quickly--

bamf 1.5 remix seems to have vzw backup assistant disable which i kind of like

I'd suggest adding your contacts into gmail asap, especially if you're into flashing. It makes things so much easier. Plus with google backing up data now too, it's getting easier and easier to setup after a full wipe. I love how it backups up my saved WiFi Networks with passwords. I have a dozen or so saved networks and not having to add them after a wipe is awesome

Agreed, seems like gmail backup is so much better than verizons.

found a great way everyone---

People-> Menu->Export to Sd-> Phone....

done. 789 contacts transferred to the sd. easy!

How do I do that?

Login in to Vzw back up assistant, and rite above your contacts it will say "select all" press that to select all.
then press the action button rite next to that and select export.
then save the csv file to your pc/phone.

login to gmail/contacts, on the left side under contacts. go to import contacts. and browse to the folder where you previously saved the csv file.

sync Gmail on your TB
