My current phone e is running ICS lolzz (holo launcher HD) I'm just messing with my esteem (flashed ROMs on here that shouldn't even be flashed like the galaxy note cm9 ROM Lol it ki da works tooo)
So you did get another rom on here to work or your just saying its holo launcher with theme.
No lol i flashed eother the galaxy nexus or galaxy note cm9 rom on the esteem... everything worked as in it flashing (wat some ROM dev or sumthing try and say im wrong) but wben it went to some setup menu the coloring was off... it was tanned green and it wasnt working properly... ueah i had cm9 worki g and everything but i couldnt do anything lol... idk what halc these guys complaining for some things from other roms work they just need to try and stop saying this and that if they havent tried it..

your lucky you dont have a paper weight.
And I doubt very seriously a rom for a GNexus or a Note2 would even boot w/o removing or swaping the boot.img at the least.

That just sounds too good to be true. I get boot loops back to clockwork flashing stuff from the esteem to the revo. And you get a galaxy rom to boot?!? Post a link to the rom you flashed or something. I got to see this.
While I've seen folks unknowingly flash the wrong ROM (i.e., from a different carrier or with a similar name) and one instance of a member knowingly flashing the "wrong" ROM to a device (he was testing how ways to truly brick a device), I would strongly caution one from doing this.
Unless you (carefully) review the updater-script file to see what is actually being done, you're taking a big chance with having a true brick on your hands.

Sir mr moderator sir....can you perhaps move those them there posts somewhere else or remove them from this thread? Would hate for some of the family members here to get too over excited and ballzy and end up with paperweights.
When PG is done with his mission here... it would be nice to still have a working esteem to flash cm10 to, amirite?

Okay, just to re-iterate to everyone--flashing ROMs from another device is probably not a good idea: do so at your own risk.
