with most aosp roms you will need to flash the gapps file seperately. cm7 you may need to flash a driver to get:[FIX][AOSP][MIUI] All GPS fixes! - xda-developers. other then that you should be good to go.

The GPS fix is not required technically but it should be. Cm7 GPS was shaky at best and now it's better than it is on Sense.

And if you decide flash a custom kernel, make sure the kernel is for an AOSP rom.


If you flash a Sense kernel you will have issues
