I have a very small IT business, I support companies that do not want to hire a full time IT guy, I take care of the network, servers, workstations, sometimes phones, etc. etc.

I have been working in the computer industry since 1994

I'm a Test Automation Engineer for the Rail Industry. I spend my days developing ways to test product interfaces against design specs as well as US and International safety / interoperability requirements. I've been with this corporation since 1997.

TLDR: I make procedures for low cost testers in India to run, and build robots to replace them

I do entertainment for colleges nation wide (coming to a town near you? Lol) mostly digital imaging... But comedy, game shows, laser tag, blow up toys  ... But i seem to be a sponge for knowledge (at least for things that interest me) I'm just so glad we have such a nice, friendly people here (unlike some other forums that will remain nameless *cough* warp *cough*)

Nice. Sounds like you guys are where I plan to be in several more years. I'm an IT Specialist/Systems Analyst/Operator for the military. I work with various systems ranging from from satellite transportable terminals, to routers and switches, to system level administration. I look forward to learning what I can from the gurus here. Nice job everyone.

I have been an Auto Tech for GM for about 6 years. I specialize in automotive computer systems and diagnostics.

I don't personally own one, my dealership has 6. I run a mix of tech II, HP Tuners on my lappy, and a Snap-On Verus. If you have an OBD II GM vehicle I can flash custom tunes or pre-made tunes for the price of HP Tuners credits. $100.00 unlocks the vehicles VIN for use with my software.

I am an unemployed bum, or rather a full time stay at home dad of 2 disabled boys.

One severely autistic and one very delayed development.

Hats off to you bro. Im also a stay at home daddy taking care of my 12week old son. Mommy (wife) makes more at her job than I did, so I quit to be home. Neither of us wanted a day care raising our son. Stay at home daddies UNITE!

SheetMetal Mechanic...I put the Duct Work in your house..not an IT guy ..but i can make anything out of a peice of flat metal :D

PS..maybe even a smartphone..

my wife has a 2000 grand am gt1 we have a few mods to it including tuned pcm I would not mind more custom tuning but hp tuners is kind of expensive, wish I had DHP tuner too bad they went out of business.
I was not really serious though about you having the tech II first your a bit far from me for that and second I am not sure the tech II would do exactly what I want, the hp might though.
