Strength should have something like toughness where you take less damage and the accuracy and use of heavier weapons including other things like kicking doors down and winning arm wrestling contests:
Strength is just that your physical strength. Just because you are strong doesn't mean you are healthy or able to take damage. You may be able to kick any door down or win any arm wrestling contest but you can still be prone to colds and bleed like crazy because of a paper cut. Just as someone can be weak but never get sick and can get up from any punch thrown their way. Melee attacks are based on strength an arm wrestling contest against anyone other than a professional arm wrestler would not require a "arm wrestling" skill but would rather be a strength vs strength check where both involved parties rolled and added their strength to see who is the victor. A noncombat skill I could see as useful based on strength could be climbing which would allow you to scale a wall easier.
Agility should have something like limbo for winning limbo contests for money lol or having faster actions i/e aiming, running, reloading, better accuracy:
That is a good description of Agility. Again limbo may not be a much used skill. The characters will be going on quests and have a chance to make money so a high agility may be enough to win a limbo contest. You could take something like acrobatics as a agility skill, so if you were falling in a pit when you hit the ground you would have more of a chance to roll and be less injured.
Body should probably be used for resisting things like magic, poison, diseases, and maybe elements:
Body would be used for all those resistances other than some magic. There are types of magic that are charms and illusions for that the physical health and resistance of your body doesn't matter. Body is also used to calculate your health as your ability to resist physical elements. I don't really see those as skills either but rather just checks. Unless you were making an assassin character that has introduced toxins and poisons to their own body I don't know why you would have any special resistances to some things. A body skill could be endurance meaning you can run or hold your breath longer than you could otherwise.
same what you said about charisma but with better NPC interaction maybe like seducing someone getting more trust out of someone or getting information from a person they normally wouldn't share which could lead to greater treasure
Charisma will affect your interaction with all NPCs. Diplomacy is a Charisma based skill you can use to read others and may be able to figure out it's a bad idea to say something before you blurt it out.
intelligence for rooting phones, adding custom ROMS,hacking, potion crafting and making things like weapons or robots and even to disarm traps and un brick phones too as well as hacking enemy robots and turrets:
Hacking would be intelligence based no doubt. Potions would be under willpower as they are for healing generally. Crafting would be intelligence based as well but may also be rooted to another attribute. Disarming electronic traps would fall under intelligence, while disarming physical traps will fall under agility.
willpower could be used to resist magic instead of body and would allow more use of magics as well as the use of more powerful ones tell me what you think
I have willpower as the basis for divine magic (healing/support) not arcane magic since that is related to Androids and technology and roots back to intelligence. Willpower also will help you resist illusions and magical charms.
In order to use magic the character will need to have the "magic" skill related to either intelligence or willpower. Android magic is more powerful than human magic. Resistance of magic is odd it could really be based on any stat.
Someone tries to use a hold spell on you to keep you from moving would be a strength check to break the hold
Some casts a fireball spell at you, you have to make an agility check to avoid getting hit
Someone hits you with a poison spell you make a body check to resist the poision
Someone casts a confuse spell on you, you make an intelligence check to avoid confusion
Someone tries to use a charm on you that allow them to control you, you make a willpower check to avoid being controlled
I am tired and can't think of a good charisma one right now....here is the link to the rules I have typed up currently. All have been discussed in this thread
