havent seen any news yet on this rom but im currently downloading the newest version of FRESH 3.0 ( 2.2 Froyo rom made by FLIPZ/FRESH.....
not officially out yet, but if you DONATE...you'll get download link and added to donors-only FRESH EVO beta releases(future ones too) its a private link and donors gets first dibbs. so GO DONATE what you can and support this badd ARSE DEV


had 1.0.1 but jumped ship to see what all this froyo was all about... tried cm6, and now ava...but cant wait to be back on some FRESH ROMS for FROYO!!!
 
i donate but im not going to flash this because it has a bug where it doesnt sync google contacts. i suppose i could manually restore them but thats a pita.

also curious to see whether anyone is able to flash this without doing a wipe. ive read some of the other rooted 2.2s didn't require it but flipz recommends it.
 
speak of the devil, he just sent out an email saying it was fixed. he says it definitely requires a wipe though, boo.

alright im nandroid'd up, with nandroids transferred to the PC for safekeeping, got the ROM, radio and wimax downloaded and on the SD card. bout to plunge in
 
Just installed and up and running. Linpack score went from around 7 to 37. Wireless tether, google contacts,front & back camera, and wifi are all perfect so far. Amazing, glad I donated. I installed with Clockwork Recovery. Very fast.
 
Actually I got ahead of myself. Wireless tether not working, it starts but I cannot see the phone in my wireless network list therefore can't connect.
 
Is 4G working and happy?

EDIT: I'll answer this for myself soon. I'm downloading.

I'm also pretty jazzed to use Kitchen
 
damn, I would have tried this. I was on fresh and went to the stock rooted update. had my email auto sync off and didn't expect this so soon.

oh well, I'll try this out another day, just did a full wipe and already restored everything.
 
Use his new beta kitchen and the 2.2 fresh ROM (second version, glad it took me a while to get to it!) and loving it. I tried that flash in the Dolphin HD browser and it worked on a Marvel.com site. Did only one test though..

What does this exactly mean: A FULL DATA WIPE IS REQUIRED DUE TO THE SIGNATURE CHANGES! I mean if I have some other ROMS saved on MY sd card it will not affect them correct.
 
I rather wait until someone sends me the link to the release. I'm not paying just to test it out. I'm glad we still have devs that don't do this crap and just link to the file and just have an option to donate.

You'll be able to get it soon for free. flipz sends it to us who donate to be his testers to find the problems for you.
