Root Froyo Development

There is a problem I am experiencing with the browser. When I try to open it, it starts to load the google home page, but then crashes. i.e. black screen, returns to home launcher. No FC box or anything.
Sorry for not posting a logcat right now. I will get one when I get back from the doctors. sorry guys.

they had went over this already.. try changing the default home page to yahoo or something else.. there's a problem with google..
 
If anyone has any force close issues with wireless tether for ally app go to application manager and clear data then use it. That app seems to not like being cooked in rom.
 
I can't get past the ANDROID Boot Loader when first installing the rom, I wiped dalvik cache and installed, going to try again and see if it can get past it. Any ideas?

EDIT #1: I just repeated the steps and it worked, now to install gapps lol, theres NOTHING lol

What version? Thought that was fixed in aosp15. It has to do with gps loc request on google.com
 
Thanks drell for putting in so much time in to this! expect a donation:)

In aosp15 the volume keys do not switch when opening the keyboard and using them. It used to do it with stock rom, raptor and velocity. When turning the phone on its left the vol. down should raise the vol. and up on the vol. key should lower the vol. and i don't think i can get a log by doing this. oh and i dont know whats causing this but key pad lights are not lit on the front or keyboard awkward... nm this is wierd yet cool the brightness slider is affecting the lights on the keys but once they go off i have to move the slider again to make them light back up
 
So, the only things that arent working are the satellite gps, the camera, and the volume buttons with keyboard out? Dres is killing the LG developers!
 
Question are the lights on the phone working for everybody else cause on mine they only stay lit if i move the brightness slider for the display and after doing that they stay lit till i lock the phone. and when i try to move apps to sd i get a "failed to move app"
 
Just an fyi and it may be something I did wrong, but my time is wrong and I can't change the date\time or time zone. The automatic setting has a check mark on it, but I can't remove the checkmark to adjust the time\date\time zone.

I actually had a problem twice where the time was ahead by about 7 hours. But it eventually just changed itself to the correct time.
 
After reading all of this, I am just so impressed at all the work that's been done. I understand that the camera may never work. What is the likelihood of the headphones working? That's something I use every day as I sleep with them in listening to Relax and Sleep. Also I use GPS with Google Maps so is there hope that eventually the sat/GPS will work?

Are you running stock clockspeed, or are you OC'd? How are you managing CPU clockrate increases for load?

Could some one please tell me if their backlight is working for their keys cause mine only light up when I move the brightness slider for the display and once I turn the screen off I have to repeat the step and BTW I think I found a fix to the camera I just need a root explorer for free if anybody knows of one also is anybody else having issues moving apps to sd like I am?? Please reply anyone I'm using aosp15

My keyboard rarely lights up, but it does sometimes. Welcome to beta ROM's.
 
This is amazing. Everything runs so smooth. My homepage is set to google and it ran just fine. But I don't have the gapps flashed either. So that could be why.
