So far I've noticed everything is very snappy and responsive.. Im currently running some quadrant scores to see what all I can make out of it.. post your initial views and opinions.

Lots of unnecessary apps
Could've use a new KB

Multi touch keyboard

Im talking the ACTUAL froyo update.. not aosp 30.. this is going to blow that out of the water once we get an OC kernel and stc..

Ok so here's the part where I get confused. Let's say I take the OTA when it comes. Now in order to have done that I would have had to go stock and then go back to stock recovery. Now it updates and I have froyo..... well I have no recovery with which to flash your zip. Does this mean that we should all use the mobile updater and not the OTA? So would you have to load the recovery the old fashioned way? Via the adb terminal? Because what I do these days is root then flash rom manager then clock work then flash the amon ra backup. So I am guessing that adb terminal is going to be the only way.

I couldnt tell you, it's all about what you want.. I only took the update on my testing phone.. and it's working marvelously.

I can leave instructions on how to get froyo and root if needed.

Are you thinking that when you use lgmu that you go back to stock everything including recovery? If so, that's not the case. You will still have whatever recovery you were using in order to flash your stock recovery to recieve the ota....I THINK

OK, here are my FroYo thoughts - I'm PISSED that the stinking file will not download! Got the latest version of the LG Mobile Updater, allowed it to download and install the latest drivers, PC and the Updater both recognize the phone is there. Everything is just peachy until it gets to the actual dowloading step. After about 10 minutes, it tells me it can't find an internet connection. WHAT THE HECK??? If I didn't have an internet connection, how the heck did I download the new version and drivers? Or can post here??? Stupid Updater program!! GRRRRR !!!

How exactly do you get root? just flash the zip in your first post? but how did you get into a recovery where you could do this? Or, does using lg's updater instead of ota not reflash a recovery?
